Good to see the 'pride of south australia' win

If its a PP V AC prelim there will be one inescapable fact
= one of our SA teams will be in the G/Final

Great win by the Power to come form a few goals down and win

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY we did it

Port played well....there you go, but as a neutral fan last night I felt it wasnt a real skillful 2nd v 3rd game...no one wants to comment on that?

Even if WCE got up Id be saying the same thing, it was a good result personally for me as I backed WCE +8.5 and that result means I have a chance of seeing the Roos here in 2 weeks time

IMO I believe Port cannot win the flag, they may make the GF but will not win

In your opinion Port can win the flag...thats the beauty of life, others have different opinions....and in this case someone will be right

As for the Roos, Port were not short priced favourites for the Wooden Spoon, no one talked about the Roos making the 8 where after last years finish many were talking up Ports chances...so dont play that one

I thought they waited until the GRAND Final to decide who wins the flag?

The Cats GF record weighs large IMO. It's a baboon on their backs IMO an the weight of expectation from comments such as the above turns that baboon into a monster gorilla.

Geelong has finals and grand Finals experence. In 2002 half if not most of our current side won a VFL grand final and in 2006 we did travel to adelaide to knock off the crows for the NAB cup grand final. What happened from 1989 to 1995 is not important they are two very different sides in attitude and mind set. Do I think the cats will win the Flag Yes I do but i agree with REB on the roos also because they seem to have the Lions attitude of if we have a chance we will take it.

Great win by Port ... Power fans won't like this analogy, but I reckon they are travelling much like the Crows of 97, playing some of their best footy when behind, refusing to give up, and confounding the critics ... There's a lot of people still not paying Port their due respects and it could very well bite them on the ass!

No 5hit Sherlock. Boy you Port fans are clever. OK, I'll explain it to you. I believe whoever wins on Sunday can go on and win the premiership IMO. That's if it's ok with you.

The Cats GF record weighs large IMO. It's a baboon on their backs IMO an the weight of expectation from comments such as the above turns that baboon into a monster gorilla.

What a crock of 5hit. Are you and MW joined at the hip or are you in fact the same poster? I'd like either of you two geniear5es to tell me when this group of players lost a Grand Final. I'd also like you to explain how my comment is going to affect the outcome of this year's premiership.

Fair dinkum.

Clever joke REB, some people probably think you are serious! Neither of Sunday's teams will win the flag.

Port will need to show a lot more to beat the Roos or the Cats. Port hasn't played against a full strength side for about a month now. Port have been fantastic no doubt about it but I'm sorry boys - I aint convinced.

If I had a link to any footage of Neil Craig I could.

The bloke has a crap system and is a dud.

And so say all of us Norwood supporters. Put this way, Peter Rhode succeeded where Neil Craig failed. The Professor's experiment has failed again.

I'd prefer not to be compared to the Cows!!!

I think the current Power side has the characteristics of the Mighty Magpies sides of the 90's. Never say die.

Good win by the power- i too was on the eags though and when its that close i think the eags were value at $2.20. What I dont un- even though i lost!! What i struggle to understand about supporters espescially is how "gutsy" a 3point win can be and how "pathetic" a 3 point loss can be. The result is decided on who nods there head at the right time and to be fair i think in games under a goal a huge amount of luck comes into it. Yes people will say the power have done it three weeks in a row so that proves their courage- while i agree to an extent and they have done brilliantly to be so competitive, occasionally you toss the coin and come up with three heads in a row.

While on my rant, why is Salopek courageous for coming back on last night?. He obviously got assessed by the doc and wasnt concussed or injured- so whats he meant to do- say na il give it amiss tonight boys- Never understood that one.

Getting a couple things off my chest

Cracking win by the lads. Forced to listen online, but the replay is on at midnight London time. Can't frigging wait.

May still have to book a flight home in 3 weeks time for the weekend!!!!

Dutchy, no fears on the Port side of the draw........for Port Adelaide. Who would want to make the trip to AAMI for a Prelim where the Powwwaaaa are undefeated in Prelims?

September = best month of the year!

sure about that da dont think the kangas or the CROWS will mind playing port at aami in a prelim :D :D :D :D :D

Im sure the Crows would like to have played us in a prelim this year!!! I really hope we do play the Kangas in the Prelim here. If not, then Collingwood.

So to win the premiership, you need to play really good footy in all the finals? What type of premiership football did the Crows play against Melbourne in 1998? It comes down to how you play on the day, not how you played 14 days earlier.

You're right, i got sidetracked and started thinking about which of the teams that are left that Id rather play, leaving out the prelim part
