They think they're asking the questions that the public want - wrong, they are only satisfying their own need to flog the same story that has been around for ages. How many times does he need to answer the same question, clearly he's not going to elaborate any further.

*Insert the names of all the "story breakers" here*

The football media scum ( note not scrum ) are climbing over each other to get the latest story, break the latest "news" and for what? Once one of them gets wind of a story, say C7, it's moments later C9 is onto it. They must be some oddly ego driven people to be around.

Hard to argue. Still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. And have never been more excited attending the footy than that moment

How did some of the freakish goals Peter Daicos kicked rate in that list?

Only had one offically in the list (number 7 i think, vs richmond at vic park) they did do a package of his other goals not in the list though

Cheers beef.

I'm not sure what other great goals formed this list (can you fill in the gaps, beef?), but some of the goals Daicos scored were unbelievable, like the one against West Coast in the 1990 qualifying final draw. His ability to control the ball and score freakish goals with regularity was a result of practicing with out of shape footballs, well ahead of his time.

I can't believe they left Phil Krakoeur's effort out - it won Goal of the Year in 1986.

F^& me Daisy Pearce offers nothing, get the women off the footy shows. Leave the talk about mens footy to the men. Could only imagine what Leigh Matthews is thinking. Anybody who has played senior footy anywhere at any level has more knowledge and experience than her
When womens footy can support their own footy shows put them on there

The female physio on game day giving us a huge insight to the injuries on the weekend. and i quote. "he'll have a scan on Monday".
Just on that is the game not big enough to have a scan on Saturday or Sunday? Or is it a medical thing where you need to wait 24 or 48 hours for the scans to be accurate?
Is it just me or is every 2nd or 3rd hamstring now an off the bone/surgery type injury now? Cant remember them at all going back 10-15 years

Might have something to do with reduced swelling before the scan

I think so Daisy. A bloke at work did his knee and had to wait 48 hours for the swelling to go down before the scan could be done. I don't really understand what the swelling does, but obviously it negates the accuracy of the diagnosis.

yeah i liked gaze as well.

the problem with the show is they have the exact same format every week. they should just have more segments and rotate through them

Damien Fleming has also been a highlight when he's on.

I agree about more segments to freshen things up, maybe rotate ones like Numerology, Beef of the Week and Turn it up not having them on every week like they do Yesterday's Hero's for example. Don't Come Monday's and Golden Fist should remain every week along with Dribble File.

On a side note- Dribble File was my favourite segment but Chief has gone soft lol (DCM's is my favourite now). Although he criticism of Matthew Wright's dribble kick from last Friday night saved the segment after being lackluster over the past few weeks.
