Different "portfolios"? :D

The leadership group will be supported by a number of smaller groups who will take responsibility for different portfolios across the football program.

These groups will include 2017 leadership group members Daniel Talia and Eddie Betts, along with numerous others who are keen to drive key components of the program.

There is 20 in this group

Not sure where the $3.4m could have been spent (legally) during 2017 to beat Richmond that day

Maybe the money could have been spent on a search and rescue mission to find your captain who went missing for the most part of last season

Probably put $1M on Richmond on GF day.

A very clever investment by the club to buy up big time in dried apricots, desiccated coconut, and condensed milk at the start of 2017. The price of apricot slices on the Crows commodities index (the 'CRAX') had skyrocketed by August/September to the point that it made Bitcoin look like a bunch of Poseidon shares.

The comments i read about not investing in pubs were interesting, as it is a pretty typical "footy club" thing to do

Fagan was quoted as saying that you would have to spend 10 million to get 500k a year, but they could invest in many other things for a better ROI

A football club without club rooms is the real issue. I assume they are biding their time for a move when they are able to do so.

Well if you don't, you're not, IMHO.

A building doesnt make a club, its ridiculous to suggest that it does

having said that, the crows definitely need a space for after game drinks, to better engage with the fans.

It’d probably be a lockout anyway...

I think they are waiting for the redevelopment of Memorial Drive and will pay to have a clubhouse and training facility in it.

Id suggest they will stay at West Lakes, make $4m a year, pocket the cash and move when they are financially stable to do so, they know how good their wicket is at the moment.
