Correct, it cost about $4m to put on and we must have returned around $4m from it > we made a profit this year.

Do you guys still have any pokie venues?

Yep they are still sucking on the tit of their valued community via pokie machines.

Turnover $57m and return a profit of $28k, an ROI of 0.00049%....no one is buying that business model.

No mention of reducing debt? Obviously didn't happen.

$970,853 difference between our net surplus and our stat profit, would imagine most of that would be from paying off debts

PORT ADELAIDE chairman David Koch today announced the club will be presenting at its Annual General Meeting on February 2 a net operating surplus of $999,464 before amortisation and depreciation for the financial year ending 31 October 2017.
As part of the club’s 2017 result, Port Adelaide will record a statutory profit of $28,611, the club’s third consecutive statutory profit.

I suspect not, if they had knocked down their debt by $1m they would be screaming from the roof tops about it.

SOme of you blokes just want to get stuck into every club, maybe worry about your own. Lose money = living off afl hand outs, make money "you should've made more". Port could cure cancer and people would say they should've found a cure earlier. Making $1 profit is better than they were so good on them.

I haven't said anything above that isn't a fact or a genuine question, I do know how bad the situation was, and good to see them breaking even now, but she is a really slow turning ship.
