Really, comparing him to
Tredrea. 255 games 549 goals Dixon 107 games 173 goals.

Tredraea was a club champ.

Whichever way you spin it, Dixon’s record is sh*thouse for a key forward on $700k a year.
173 goals from 103 games isn’t good enough.
Schulz had 272 goals from 122 games and he got the boot for Dixon.

Let’s hope Dicko can get back close to the form he showed in the final v West Coast last year which was almost Duck like. He raised the bar that night on how good he can be but has not got near that form this year. For us to win big finals he needs to be in that type of form. I think he is building towards that and look out comp if he does.

Stop taking the piss you lot, Dixon's has been good for Port and he would be in any teams starting 22. Look beyond the stats and besides it's more fun shitcanning JJ

And everytime you watch a Port game the commentators give Dixon a massive blowie and yet again no bag. He's more overrated than Rance.

I hate comparing stats... 8)

JJ 1.96 goals per game 4.86 marks per game, 4.34 hitouts per game
Dixon 1.61 goals per game 3.97 marks per game, 4.21 hitouts per game

Charlie Dixon 120 games 2.1 per game

Me too. ;)

Schulz had serious back issues in 2016 and barely got on the park, at 31 (32 in April) he was 50/50 at best to get another deal and at most would have got 1 year. When it became apparent Dixon had picked Port as his destination the decision was made easier to part ways.

Got the boot? No, his body was no longer up to it.

For a closet Port fan you miss the mark quite often.

Yeah, I hate it when people who know the game talk about someone like that.

I know how you guys like stats and quotes to be accurate... its actually,

Josh Jenkins 128 Games 1.9 tackles per game
Charlie Dixon 120 Games 2.1 tackles per game

So big, super aggressive and intimidating Charles lays 0.2 tackles more per game than someone who it is widely known only tackles someone if he trips over them and has no choice.

Josh also leads the 1%ers head to head 2.1 to 2.0 ;)

Schulz wanted one more year and the club said NO.
Stop pretending otherwise.

For a biased Power supporter you quite often miss the mark.

Schulz did want another year, absolutely he did and who wants to face the prospect of their career coming to an end?

Did Port want a 32 year old with a bad back for another year? No, they didn't and it was also at this time the Butcher experiment came to an end.

Did Port want a key forward with 6 or 7 years ahead of him who could play back up ruck more than they did a 32 year old with a bung back? Well...yeah.

When tackles become the barometer more than goals for a forward the game is rooted!
Does anyone care how many tackles Buddy lays.........nope.
