LOL. Real LOL.....you may have noticed the Vic jumper is a big white V on the chest, not a white and teal V that goes up to the shoulder.

You must have snapped up Nigels pitch to his customers.

Massive difference!

The true Port Adelaide tradition, getting inspiration from a 7 year old who copies the SA state jumper and puts Port Power colours on it

I agree that it's a massive achievement but surely changing your jumper to commemorate a single player is gong a bit far? Why not just sell them, the players don't have to wear them

Lied? LBH, he probably told the truth but he was told it was wise to say otherwise afterwards. Club legends don't want to go to court together, do they? Especially when there's so much dirty laundry that could be aired as evidence.

Going too far? There's guernsey changes every week.

I can't think of another club that has changed their Guernsey for a single player more than once - they did it for his 400th and Petries 300th didn't they?

Happy to stand corrected if there is. I just find that weird

How do you expect us to sell out when cost of living is so bloody expensive?

Surely 50,000 of the 7.6 million could afford to get along?

you mean how we have sold out nearly every home game this year and have set attendance records?

my original post was a bit of a joke...

North didn't change their jumper for Petrie's 300th, his initials were simply under the sponsors badge.
Surely you're not begrudging the club bringing out a commemorative geurnsey for 400 (one club) games & then one for when the all time games record is broken? Neither of these things wil probably ever happen again.
The club makes money on guernesys sold - the fans are happy.
Not sure how you find this weird.

Hey, I hate North as much as the next bloke, Harvey right up there in that rating too, but this is/was an all time record for the competition, not just one player ( Petrie's 300th ) or a club record, it's an all time record. Worth celebrating for the little prick, now I hope they get caught up in the emotion and he goes on again. :D

Mind you, still short of Craig Bradley's astonishing record.

With the WA economy over the last 24 months when you weigh everything up across many households I know which is more expensive currently.... ;)

A PUNTER is $29,338 richer after pulling off a 5869-1 long shot over the weekend.
The CrownBet punter scored the payout of a lifetime when his eight-leg multi-bet across AFL and horse racing actually came off.
The punter’s $5 wager came back as $29,343 after combining five bets on the AFL and three bets on Saturday’s races at Caulfield in Melbourne.
The incredible bet went extremely close to coming unstuck several times, but when North Melbourne wrapped up the four points against St Kilda on Saturday night all eight legs emerged successful.

It was very nearly over after the first leg.
The bold punter’s first bet on Giants midfielder Tom Scully to record the most disposals in his assigned group during the Giants’ mauling of Richmond on Saturday only came off by one kick of the Sherrin.
Scully recorded 30 possessions — just one ahead of defender Heath Shaw, who finished the match with 29 possessions.
Carlton’s Patrick Cripps also sprung an upset to record four more possessions than Hawks star Jordan Lewis in the second leg of the wager.
Port Adelaide’s Sam Gray also recorded the most disposals in his group. He had 28 touches while teammate Jared Polec almost ruined the bet with his 25 disposals.

The punter’s bet on five-year-old gelding Magicus to place in The Champagne Pommery Masters Handicap at Caulfield also nearly brought him unstuck.

Magicus finished less than half a length ahead of fourth-placed finisher Archean.
In the end it all came down to Collingwood beating West Coast at the MCG by less than 39 points and North Melbourne beating St Kilda by less than 39 points.
Spurred on by the emotion of Kangaroos great Brent Harvey breaking the all-time AFL games record, North Melbourne at one stage led by 41 points in the final quarter before the Saints fought back to protect the punter’s bet.
It appears it was just meant to be for the lucky punter.
“He would have been a very nervous man,” CrownBet’s Rob Cumbrae-Stewart said.
“It’s an epic multi. Congrats to him.”

pfft, if youre any good youll book your top 4 spot with a percentage boosting 10-15 goal win, the Dogs are cooked.

This made me chuckle from pre-Rd 19 last year....
