Because it creates headlines.
We achieve it - hits are high on websites
We don't - hits are high on websites
Everyone's a winner...

FWIW, I didn't have us any higher than 10th and that will be a stretch.
I just couldn't see who we were going to knock out of the eight.

I couldn't see how a forward line so dependent on Moore ( who is going to be a very good player ) White ( who you love as much as Butcher ;) ) and Fasolo could possibly deliver winning totals in the modern game that dictates over 100 points per game to be a winning chance.

Agree with above.
We have lots of players that heads go missing in big moments.
Can't string 2 quarters together let alone 4.
Battle like mad to get the ball off the opposition, then fasolo, white, or whoever else burn the finish.
Frustrating.

Correct.

But I'd be happy with White at the Dogs ;)
Second level, he'd dominate.

Our F50 entries are so inefficient at the moment. Would rather us pick off a target at 45m than kick high to a 2-on-1 at FF.

When Cloke was there it took heat away from Moore, but now he is the main target and isn't coping - and the delivery is less than ideal. I don't think he is the right size to be a key forward anyway and would be better suited a bit further up the ground.

I reckon those that have them in the 8 this year looked at names through the midfield and thought they would carry them. There is still a bit of one way running from some which hurts against sides that move the ball quickly.

For some reason i think they can get up tonight though.

Agreed. I don't know how people paid to write/report on footy could have thought otherwise.
I've even seen journos without Adelaide in their eight, or in question for the eight. I can't see how.

The bastard that is the black dog.

Alex Fasolo granted indefinite leave from Collingwood as he battles depression :(

All the best, Fas.

Surely he's not off to the AFL as Footy Ops Manager?
