Port Adelaide 2016

Talk on the national game

I took his quote of Boon's post as an insinuation that the knee injured in the training mishap a few weeks back is the one he is having operated.

It doesn't add to any point as there has been no issues with that knee since.

Like most of the other drama queens, you clearly haven't read the article.

Got a knock to the knee, got up, got jogging with a bit of a hobble and kept training.

Move along now.

I hope his knee is ok

One incident has nothing to do with the other. Keep slinging mud.

Easy mate, you know wubbsy likes to rub you a bit.

I don't like to rub BOONEY at all...

Originally Mr boon took my first statement about Dixon as a form of 'mud slinging', which it wasn't. Just thought I'd joke around this time...

Knee surgery or any kind and you're not playing round one. Sounds like the same spin Port were putting on Lobbe at the start of 2015 and he didn't play until round 4 maybe?

I heard port didn't do a medical for him prior to picking him up? I find it doubtful they didn't but it's what I was told.

I just reckon his ankles are relieved they are having a break from being injured

He visited Alberton twice prior to the deal, once to tour the facilities and once for a medical.

Not so sure, its just a simple arthroscopy to snip off a bit of cartlidge, Ive had the same operation and was back running in 2 weeks and I'm certainly no athlete.

Yep, it was a simple meniscus clean up, players are regularly back running/training/playing within 4 weeks.

True, the fading force that was Sydney would be worrying him, he's bound to fire the odd shot across the bow of the other clubs.

Fading? We'll finish top 4 again.

I wasn't even having a shot at port! You just had a fleeting moment of being a little precious

Disappointing, but not surprising. The AFL are proving themselves as utterly incompetent for their handling of this entire saga.

Caveat Emptor re. Ryder- but Port should have been compensated for Monfries.

That's pretty shitty. Why should Essendon get players if port don't. Doesn't make any sense. Ryder you could at least argue that they took the risk but not monfries
