Doubt he would last that long. GC don't have a ruckman and there are other clubs looking for one also.

Jacobs will be long gone by time the crows pick comes along. They need to call Carltons bluff, they will rather get something for him rather than losing him for nothing in draft. Dont think he will end up at Crows as they are shit at doing deals.

Always thought this one would be more smoke and mirrors than any other draft period.

Fair call .. The PSD regardless of whether he could make it to the Crows, would be appealing for Jacobs as he can effectively set his own pricetag.

Barto, do you have any extra info on a pre-listed GC player who has been traded to Freo by the name of Tendai Mzungu? The info I have says he played 70 games for Perth and averaged 29 possesions this year, receiving 20 votes in the Sandover Medal. They traded pick 38 and received Mzungu and pick 44 in return.

Somehow Fremantle and Collingwood are involved in the Jacobs deal according to an article I just read

The deal got Tarrant back to Collingwood and Griffin home to Freo

The article wasn't clear what all the moves where

The Tarrant and Griffin trades must be separate as it seems Jacobs for picks 33 and 67 and that's it

Shermanator the newest dog.

not too bad i reckon...

Djurkerra will be good too, i guess a bit like Moles, has been training with the best midfield over the past 3-5 years so will go well.

Veszpremi i don't know much about so we'll see, Everitt was always going to go after his issues last year and not getting the opportunity this year.

Personally i dont think the Crows really improved with their trades.

They get Jacobs but his average at best pretty much exactly the same as Griffin, no real improvement there imho.

The crows will now bow out of trade week having completed the trades they set out to achieve, an overall success I believe as we managed to hold onto our first round pick. Leaves us with picks 14, 60 and 84 I think. As we were only ever going to have 3 spots on the senior list acquiring Jacobs and Tambling has ultimately pushed our last 2 picks back from late 20's and early 30's to 60 and 84 which is good shopping IMO.

Would have liked to get a simular deal for Griffen what we gave for Jacobs.

Griff was probably lucky to still be on the list for this year so getting something for him was probably a bonus. Ultimately Jacobs only costs a mid 30's pick which is good value considering Cartlon's requests and his market value after a good finals series.

He played one really good game against the Swans. The rest of the season he was OK without being good/outstanding, just like Griffin.

Griffin would be ahead of Sauce at this stage IMO.
