Eligible for this and next year's Brownlow.

I am relatively happy with the seventh position we ended up in.

We were better than all the teams below us and we could get close to, but probably not consistently beat or stay with the teams above us.

I was happy with 8th this year and to be competitive in the finals. In the end we lost by the least out of the four results and we faded out in our strongest part of a match in one that counted. All 22 guys now know how finals differ from the H&A season and we'll be better for it and hopefully we go at least one week further in 2010.

We dropped one or two we shouldn't have (Hawthorn with Fev's poster and Freo on the Gold Coast) but hey, we did better than nine other sides and it was only a few years ago that club officials were suggesting that our keys be thrown to the AFL and tell them to lock up when they'd finished us off compeletely. Now we have credibility again, smiles on our faces and copping less crap from supporters of other sides.

It just would've given us flexibility in defence in the key positions. But not having Jamo and Waite there didn't help much. I hope Paul Bower is in the gym right now bulking up if he's going to play a key position. To put it bluntly he's a good third tall defender.

Should've won, didn't, so we move on to next year (cos let's face it it's all we've got now).

The bit that hurts is that we could've beaten the Bullies next week at the G and moved into a Prelim. Oh well, nothing we can do about that now.

I was disappointed in the way we lost, not that we lost last night.

Overall, 13 wins, 10 losses, 7th position - not a bad year and a good stepping stone for next season.

I agree Setanta would have been a good option

He would've given his team mates the kick up the ar5e they needed

Pressure points behind the ear, what a load of crap, what next acupuncture? Voodoo? What a tool. Absolute wanker.

I'll second that. The match review panel seem to be sitting on the fence with this one. Either he is guilty and receives a fair whack given his prior record (C. Brown incident), or he is not guilty. Eye gouging is a dog act.

He was cleared of the Brown incident (really helps when Brown lied his arse off, Juddy was cleared and Brown got fined an absolute shit load - $7.5K? for giving false evidence).

What do you think that he should have got? 3 games seems reasonable to me

I actually think 3 weeks is a bit stiff, but the way Judd has gone about this is very strange. Against Adelaide 2 weeks ago he seemed very frustrated, probably with a close tag but he rarely shows it when he is, ie. every week. Is all well in Judd and Carltonland?

Did you miss the last quarter capitulation at the Gabba. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

going to go out on a limb and say you obviously havent studied martial arts Cutterman. I didnt do that many lessons but I know about pressure points.

how about instead of labelling Judd a liar on a subject you know nothing about.

Can i suggest try a little thing called research. Seeing you use the computer an all.

Next time try google searching "Martial Art pressure points" see what results you get.

It will take about 10 seconds out of your life and then you dont have to make false accusations.

Just a suggestion.

BTW There is a pressure point behind you ear and even with a little bit of force applied it aint comfortable.

well I did martial arts when I was a kid but that was along time ago and doesn't come into it. And I understand about pressure points but there was no way known that he was feeling behind his ear FFS, his fingers were tap dancing all over his face. With his prior offence for the same issue, well what more do you need. I just think that the way he's handled it is very strange.

Interesting comments made from a man who competely knew about pressure points behind the ear.

Yet again just a suggestion try research next time. It will take a total of 10 seconds out of your life.

I guess all the Eagles fans are still sour at losing Judd. He made a smart business decision and left a sinking ship. He was sick of carrying them and decided that he would go to a team on the rise

Yeah. He was sick of carrying the Eagles so he took the money and run and now carries Carlton.
