Telling a coach he is sacked 12 months ahead of time has always worked well :)

Would be a mutual decision otherwise Woosha would have walked I’d imagine.
I don’t think he had plans to stay beyond the end of next year anyway

The money isn’t an issue.
The club believes Rutten will be best served by doing a year of on the job training under Worsfold.

Apart from the facts that Rutten and Roo don’t get along and that the Woosha/Rutten succession plan had been in the pipeline for 12 months and first reported by the papers about 4 weeks ago :)

If I was a coach in waiting and had a choice, I wouldn't select Adelaide. Rutten I think has made the right choice.

We are a basket case, hopefully he can change that.
Not sure it was really a decision as this had pretty much been agreed on for awhile now.
Interesting that Caracella has committed himself to be Rutten’s 2IC rather than chase a coaching job though

Yes true but he has more hope of surviving the circumstances in Melbourne than he does in Adelaide. Adelaide is in all sorts I fear. Their next coach will get hammered by the media.

Essendon are a bit better placed but only if they can save Daniher from leaving.

With Essendon the list has a bit more to work with. Also whilst Essendon are in the media a bit being a bigger club, it's not the fish bowl Adelaide would be.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Just funny that he had a two year offer on the table and then this morning a bloke rings in and says Francis will sign a 3 year deal and half a day later it’s done lol

With ISC in financial strife Essendon have severed ties with them and signed a 5 year deal with Under Armour to produce the clubs apparel.

Saad had a pretty good year and most expected him to finish about where he did. Our voting system rewards games played also and he was pretty durable this year. We did have a pretty crap year too so so hard to find many that a real good year. Merrett won it and I thought his year was pretty ordinary TBH
