So at best now Judd can only match Swan as he only has 2 games left. I recall he had a quieter round 24 too.

Sam Mitchell

So Swan has won it, the only question now is whether Dal Santo will join him on stage

Final top 3

Swan
Mitchell
Dal Santo

Guess the umpires did think back to last year. That said a well deserved award, maybe the trip away did the trick.

Well done to Swan, glad the umps got it right this year.
Huge congrats to Ablett, the absolute best player in the comp. To poll that many votes in a crap side is amazing, Ablett will win another 2 or 3 Brownlows if GC can win a couple more games

Really glad Mitchell didn't poll the most votes - but really happy he polled the second most considering the year he's had (on and off the field)

even if he's at the Giants Quichey?

I reckon Ablett is a chance next year. He had an interrupted pre season, played in a side that's only going to get better and obviously is a vote getter. I remember when he signed up for the Suns he was $8 cos I was going to put money on it. Glad I didn't but still, he's got to be a chance if they win 6 or 7 games next year (despite others possibly taking votes of him!).
