Now that competitiveness has gone out the window, I can see the Crows now looking at their options whereas previously Trigg would be adamant that Craig was there for as long as he wanted the job. I also wonder if they may be thinking about Port's experience with Williams and the need to make tough decisions, which unfortunately the Power didn't do.The other thing with the Crows, and of course hindsight is a wonderful thing, is that I'm thinking they may regretting that they didn't stagger the departure of Ricciuto, Edwards, McLeod, Goodwin and Burton, a little more than they actually did. A little similar to the Australian cricket team of the 80's with Marsh, Chappell and Lillee.
Was talking to a diehard Crows fan today and he was very defensive of Neil Craig.
Am wondering why they love him so much and are so reluctant to let him go, particularly as there are several "home-grown" replacements such as Bassett, Goodwin, Bickley, Ricciuto, Hart etc. waiting in the wings...
