I saw that one and thought the ump was in a good spot to give a free. McLeod ended up on the ground didn't he? I also thought it would earn a little more talk than it did from supporters/commentators.

Thought all incidents were fair enough although some were getting border line, as an example when Porplysia was bumped, after handballing he had just enough time to tuck in his arm/shoulder to protect himself for it, to me that's getting a bit late then, if he had kicked it it would've been a FAD, I don't see the difference. If he wasn't able to ready himself for the bump I reckon it would've been ugly. It's a fine line, but that's footy. Great game of footy though, Crows will take alot out of that win, footy like that is why we go to the SANFL.

If Macca went down the commenators would have jumped on it straight away. you say 5 - 10 metres of the ball, yeah those blokes would have seen it. I think you making up things mate.

So much whinging going on about certain incidents is staggering to me.

I went along as a neutral thanks to a couple of tickets unable to be used and the amount of people going absolutely nuts about Bassett getting KO'd astounded me. Apparently Bickley's hit on Wakelin a few years ago was OK when I suggested it...
No-one likes to see someone get hurt but there was nothing wrong with the tackle.

Thought it was a sensational game from start to finish.

And I finally got my wife to see that Crows fans are more feral than port supporters, after 10 years of trying!!

For those who think this is a myth, sit amongst the first 10 rows (from the fence) between sections 121 and 122 (Northern end) at a crows home game. More F's than my Year 10 maths class.

NEVER thought i'd hear that from a Glenelg supporter given the obvious dislike of Port stemming from SANFL years

LOL GWW- yep sounds weird, but in the AFL its true! As a hawks fan who has copped it from both sets of supporters over the years, I know who I prefer to watch a game around 8)

SANFL on the other hand....

17min mark, 3rd 1/4, Chad Cornes has the ball, fends off McLeod who ends up 5m off the ball then Thurstens runs behind and elbows him squarely in the back, have a look Stan. Sniping crap!
Look I've been to my share of Adelaide games and sometimes found people to be a bit feral but it wouldn't be very often, the same with Port showdowns, saying that the worst comment I've ever heard at the footy was from a 60-70 year old female crows supporter which for legal reasons I can't repeat but concerning the west parklands.I know what feral means but don't get just what people mean when it's concerning the footy, for some it might be someone yelling too loud, maybe a bit of language meybe banter between supporters, to me that's footy. Shake hands at the end and go home.

All clubs have them... Ferals are everywhere at the footy...

From my experiences, they are in higher numbers when going to Richmond or Collingwood games
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
