Would Collingwood have a 'job' for him like the Visy 'job' Juddy currently holds? Doubt it. Besides, why would he want to wake up every morning with Fast Eddies drool all over him ;)

Well after the abysmal effort against Collingwood, good ol' Richmond did the job on Essendon & Port played like a mob of girls, so we kept the game buffer....phew !

Bad Call.

I know where he would rather be out of WCE and Carlton at the moment, and it is not who we support.

Considering he chose Carlton over any other team that put a case forward tells me he was happy with his decision....

If that's the case he'll have the same amount of flags as his old team mates will ever have at the W.C. E-girls ;)
BTW, how many flags have the Collywobbles won in the past 50 years, your mob will still probably win one before them even though your list is shite!

Great call. couldn't agree more. WCE are hopeless, but Collingwood in the finals can always be relied on to get the wobbles. Will make excellent viewing again this September

the funny thing is we are expected to be hopeless for a couple more years yet.. where as carlton since signing judd and now have the fab 4 in the middle are expected to finish high in the 8..when are they coming??
the only diff between the 2 clubs this year is that west coast will get another high draft pick or 2..

Can't remember many people, including myself, saying that we'll finish high in the 8. Most people said low in the 8, I said earlier in this thread 6th to 8th.
The problem is that this supposed fab 4 (I say supposed because I don't think they should be called that til they all acheive something, not just Judd) is that they don't really have enough of a defensive side to their game and we don't have a player that has learnt to cut a path for the likes of Judd to get through easier. The Eagles had Chick and a few others I can't think of atm.
We recruited Hadley for this and he just hasn't shown the consistency needed for this role. Bentley might be able to grow into it and is showing a few signs the more games he gets.

Please please please don't bring in Stevens this week or next week or the week after. His 32 posessions in the Bullants would've been meaningless cheap 'out-wide' possies. Bring back Walker instead.

I reckon Walks will be in as well as Robbo & maybe Garlett.

Warnock made it through in one piece.... 8)

you dont want stevens back
you couldnt get it passed the 50 line at most of your kick ins and you need him kicking out, you Recruited Chris Johnson for his disposal in the back half and he is kicking very poorly this year.
i think the Carlton is very suspect without Waite there, excluding thornton

the North Game could finish the blues season, with it Being Simmos last game the Roos will all be up.
Carlton need three wins to make the finals you would think they would lose to Geelong and Adelaide and you dont know what you are gunna get with port at AAMI so the Roos game is massive

SJABC you are a Glenelg and Carlton Supporter, what have Carlton done to Bryce Gibbs???
in his final year of SANFL and his first year of AFL he never missed a target but now he seems to make a lot of mistakes, he is still a very good player and will be a gun for a long time. but Carltons kicking skills are one of the worst in the AFL.

There in lies a massive problem. Stevens wasn't hitting targets either before he got dropped and some of my Melbourne mates that went to the 'Ants game said his disposal efficiency was well down out of those 32 touches on the weekend.
He's way to slow with the weight he's carrying and gets exposed more often then he is useful.
Alot of our players are skillful but just seem to be lacking instinct at the moment, which I think is Gibbs' issue. They are being directed to chip it around which I feel was a gameplan that went out the window last year. Heck, even the Crows are more direct and quicker with their ball movement these days. The teams that are chipping it around are being exposed due to the pace of some of the leading squads.
Someone like Robinson, who definitely plays on instinct should be brought up this week. Perfect week for Garlett also as North are not overly huge or quick so he could expose them in our forward line with his pace and he wont get knocked around to much.

Great pressure by Carlton tonight. Where the hell has that sort of play for the last 10 weeks. Great game by Jordan Russell also, best game in a Blues jumper and excellent disposal. He has alot of detractors within the Blues supporter base but his endeavour can't be questioned.
