So it seems the 'you'll be delisted' taunts at Crows Reserves matches were vindicated.

Well done for hanging onto the Crows list for this long, in the overwhelming face of a lack of ability.

Yep will go down as one of the worst afl players ever to be on a list for 5+ years

If Richmond could land him with pick 12 then there is no reason the crows could not snag him with 10. Maybe some go home factor in there as well. But that would mean they will find it hard to chase Davis if they wanted him.

Isn't Lewis Johnston the greatest kick at goal that has ever been?

Which is all well and good at training, but it's much more important to get the ball during a match and kick goals then.

Great set shot at goal and general goal sense, but from what I have seen he has no work ethic when the ball is there to be won, and lacked the defensive pressure that the game is built around I50 now.

Congratulations to Porps on a fantastic career too. As pointed out, he did it the hard way and when he was up and going (2009) he showed he was a class player.

No good having a great kick if you cannot get on the park

johnston just looked extremely lazy, and was very poor below his knees. didnt work hard enough without the ball for an afl footballer, which is just as important these days.

That was actually a Malcolm Blight comment. He said Jared could be like Rioli if he improved on certain areas ..

Hope we don't chase trengove, the only miss we should chase are ones with elite pace.

As for spudmakers I can just see him coming in and getting bags kicked on him, kicking out on the full, turning it over etc. real bad feeling about it.

Giles = yes, definitely ahead of gorringe.

Would love to get Murdoch from Geelong or Tomlinson from GWS

i reckon shoenmakers would be ok. seems like a good honest footballer.

trengove - kind of agree, though i think he has been horribly treated in his career, and if he came here to be the 4th or 5th best mid, he could really thrive.

heard that we have been looking at cheany. interesting one. not tall enough to take the second key defender spot, so thompson or hartigan would still have to play, but it would release henderson from being that third back up onto the wing which could work. still not convinced though.

both giles and gorringe would find a spot in the crows best 22 imo.

Giles and Gorringe into your best 22, at the expense of who?

Gorringe for Podsiadly is a reasonable move, although Gorringe is more of a ruck option. ( Gorringe 200cm )

Who does Giles replace?

I think Adelaide are better off chasing a young ruckman, perhaps 21 or so to support Jacobs. Jacobs is only 26 and has plenty of football ahead of him, Giles is 26 and would languish in the SANFL and get little AFL opportunity.

With Jacobs as the lead, Jenkins as back up I would be chasing a young ruckman to develop ahead of getting Giles back.

i didnt mean both of them in the same side, but if we got either of them i think they could replace pods. jenkins would then play further up the ground, with giles or gorringe playing closer to goals and being backup ruck.

Reckon Schoenmakers can carve out an OK AFL career, but would need to be the 3rd (2nd at a pinch) defender. If he's being relied upon to stop Buddy, Hawkins, Cloke etc., he'll continue to get butchered.

Talia holds down the key post, Hartigan looks promising as a FB on the gorilla and Shaw looks, like Shoenmakers a good third option.

I'd be after Shoenmakers more than Giles if I were Adelaide.

Why, they've got no need for Giles, they need another defender.
