Poor coaching, or the fact they didn't have the cattle to deal with a fired-up Hawthorn?

Umm, a current AFL finals thread last time I checked, not an SANFL GF result from 25 yrs ago.
You lot from port really don't have much to post about (or "like") at the moment, do you fellas?

They need to be told 119 times ;)
They cant win either way as the now defunct Port only managed one goal in a grand final they lost to North too. :)

So you're saying it's about as relevant as an AFL minor round game from 5 years ago?

I agree.

Agreed.

Not potting the crows in particular as it happens every year, but seriously when will the media learn not to get carried away with the form of elimination finalists in week 1.

Considering since the new format was introduced in 2000, only 4 sides have gone out in straight sets- much more respect needs to be given to the losing qualifying finalists as they are after all, top 4 for a reason.

The Hawks looked back to their best last night after a bit of a reality check last week, and with Gunston to return (?), next week shapes as a cracker preliminary final!
