What BigFooty does is their business couldn't really care and I rarely go there. What I know is that until the injunction is lifted, despite the fact it may have been stated or mentioned elsewhere, reporting the allegations will be moderated on this site.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Hopefully this comment is OK ..... delete it if its not ....

I saw the C7 news story which named the team. I'll say no more but their source was a young female who 'found', so she claimed, hand-written doctors medical reports (presented in the story with the players' names blanked out) in the gutter outside the clinic ..... yeah right!!!!

I bet they were 'found' within the building ....

Something has to seriously be done about the continuous leaks from WSADA or whoever is looking after it. I mean come on....'I just happened to be walking past and saw some papers in the gutter so i picked them up'. I think you have to be more than a couple of cans short of a six pack to beleive that crap.

This is the 3rd or 4th leak in a couple of years. Someone is getting a lot of money leaking these and its not good enough.

I got the impression the gutter was in front of a private medical clinic actually not to do with WSADA

But 1 - I could be wrong
And 2 - WSADA could still be the source of the leak but I won't speculate on my theory on here

well, the dumb-arses don't know how to cover a game of football, so they may as well find an edge somehow over the other networks...

So is the three players who were on those "two strikes" thing from last year, but such is the AFLs poor handling on the matter (when you compare it to the gambling thing where all and sundry were named), they will only remain word-of-mouth. Therefore, the innuendo that surrounds such matters will escalate because of the secrecy.

Before the injunction John Riddell did his plug for C7 news on 5AA and he described one of the players as 'very high profile who is admired for the way he plays' .....

I later sluethed out who I think he meant (once I found out the club) but will leave my ponderings to myself for now

This quote is particuarly interesting....

Demetriou said he was becoming "disillusioned" with recent football reportage. "I'm becoming more and more disillusioned with many aspects of reporting of this nature," he told 3AW yesterday. "Everyone has to take a step back now because we, like many others, are becoming disillusioned with further things that are transpiring. And now this about what our media outlets will do to acquire and publish a story.

"This story was actually offered to many media outlets who chose not to run it, which I commend them on, chose not to purchase, which I also commend them on."

If that quote is true shame C7 shame....

Demetriou has said he was furious with Seven's lack of ethics and with critics of the drug policy.

how does this impact on C7 and the AFL' s relationship, in addition will this impact on future commercial negotiations?

My understanding is that the documents may of been stolen and offered to all networks for as little as $3000, and C7 were the only station that ran with the story

I agree very poor form by C7 especially when you consider they have AFL TV rights

Imagine paying for stolen (allegedly), personal medical documents :?
