When the topic was about how "hard" a player is,your comment is just as stupid.

If he's got a bulging disc in his back then the open timeframe is quite understandable. there's nothing really that can be done unless surgery is done - rest can cure it but it must be complete rest.
if its an inflamed disc only then surgery is not really an option. perhaps, he's pushing a little too hard as a result of not playing for a long time which is probably the worst thing he could do if the disc is not properly ok.
would like riccuito to have the send off a player of his calibre deserves and not just slowly slink away.

He is currenlty recovering from a torn pectoral muscle.

Your response is bewildering. The thread is based on Roo,perhaps, not playing again. It wandered off track when Michael Wilson was mentioned, but he was mentioned in a manner comparing him too Ruccuito on a "hardest player" scale.Of which he is in the same class.

For overall class, there is no doubt Ruccuito is well and truly ahead.Go back to page 1.

Usually the first step is to wait and see if the bulge shrinks with time. If it doesn't the question of trying to shrink it by injecting an enzyme solution is considered, prior to considering direct surgery, which is not a first choice bcause of the risk of damaging spinal nerve roots.

Apparently Roo has a tear in one of the discs' in his lower back. I tore a disc in my lower back nearly three years ago now and can say that I can count the number of pain free days I've had since then on one hand. Having said that I'm about as far from being an elite athlete like modern day AFL players as Caroline Wilson is from being attractive!, and no matter how tight your "core strength" is, it does'nt take much to upset the muscles around your spine again.

Watch that stuff. Codeine converts to Morphine in the body, and one of the effects of narcotic withdrawal when it starts to wear off is rebound pain.. So, you think you need more Codeine - and so on. Panadeine Forte is probably the most widely used addictive substance in Australia.

Yeah I know the sh*t is addictive but I still need to function. I've (I suppose I should say we've) got two kids aged 7 and 2 (nearly) and still work a 40 hr week doing rotating day/night/afternoon shift. Without something to numb the pain a little I'd spend all day lying on the floor no use to anyone!
