On a side note....is there a worse commentary team than Casey, Jakovich and Pickering with Drew Banfield doing the boundary? They sucked the big one....

Bit harsh MW
They beat the percieved flag favourites in Perth afer being 6 goals down.
If players dont get excited over that then they are not human beings.

Christ that is a good win against a side that is equal 1st on the 1st line of betting.

Well done Port Power (F*** it hurts to say that) I wonder what some of the Port Power "supporters" on Big Footy are saying about Choco and his players now........
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Port won the match but lost in the fashion stakes.
Fremantle looked great in all purple, but I don't think
Port will ever come up with decent away strip.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

As much as I hate Port - they were outstanding today and while I hated their celebration, because I hate them so much - at the end of the day, they are playing with predominately a lot of kids and have just had one of the biggest wins the club has had - against the "premiership favourites" who don't lose at home and were 6 goals up, so they should have been celebrating the win, mind you I wouldn't have wanted to have been one of the players that the marshmellow man jumped on...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Yeah great comments there mate, they only come back after a significant deficit in the first half (full of young kids) to win away against a team considered to be top 4 certainties. No dont reckon theres any reason to be happy with that.

Port only have 15 players on the list with 50+ games experience. 3 of then didn't play today and Motlop was off in the 2nd quarter. A good effort from a very inexperienced side.

Likea few people in this thread it pains me to admit it but that's a huge win for Port Adelaide and the players have every right to celebrate. Someone in the media dubbed that "the House of pain" and most installed Freo as grand finalists .... and the Power come from 6 goals down to beat them.

Grudgingly =D>

10 goals in the 3rd quarter! That's brilliant.

Yeah you've got me there! The only comeback I've got is round 1 of the the 2005 finals.

I can't remember the last time the Power actually won the first game of the season!!!

I don't think choco will have time to raise a cold sweat in between all his meals this week!

Jeez, who would be a Dockers fan. Youd be into S&M - just love the pain. Cant wait to see the paper tomorrow - hang on - forgot for a second that our states real team won again tonight so the Dockers will share half a page near the middle with the Bunbury Pennant Bowls.
