No of course you aren't suggesting that .... you just mention his name and suggest that we "think" about your hypothetical, unfounded, malicious rumour. Good one Punky  . You will probably do the old "just baiting the hook" line soon in a lame attempt to back pedal.
sorry for asking a legitimate hypothetical question.... & no, I will no claim to be "fishing" either.

Yes, I can see that.

Purely speculative on my behalf of course.....

It would be naive to think the AFL community which supports over 600 players would be any different to any cross section you took in the community that also had over 600 participants.

Is the AFL turning a blindish eye to this matter.
Imagine the embarrasment to Demetiou and his cohorts if there was a wide spread
banning of AFL footballers.

How come we are so protective of Crows/Power players on here? Mention a rumour regarding them and post gets deleted, mention a rumour regarding an AFL player outside the state and there is no issue? :?

Dutchy, I'm a Collingwood supporter and I thought the post should be deleted.
The posts are all being treated the same, regardless of alliances.

Does he play for the Adelaide Crows Dutchy? ;)

But yes - I was once invited to a party hosted by a former AFL player. My friend had invited me, but then the host of the party found out what my job was and told my friend I couldn't come - as he wasn't able to trust me. Why? Let's just say Bolivia was in the room.

Definately not such a silly post.

Anyone who's been to the Alma (and probably any bar) when players are present will agree this isn't pie in the sky.

Look, I'm sorry I deleted a post when an edit should have sufficed. As I said in my warning post in this thread, posts that allege illegal activity becasue of what someone has seen or has heard i.e. 3rd or 4th hand stories will be reviewed by Mods and possibly deleted.

I haven't read anything today that I haven't heard already, but the spoken (unrecorded and witnessed) word can be denied or claim to be misinterpreted.

Posted text despite the use of the word "allegedly", "rumour, "apparently" etc aint going to cut it in a legal sense as the association and implication is there in a public forum.

If I'm out of line I'm sure site admin will tell me and I'm more than happy to lose my moderating status if people think I'm being over the top.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

All good Tassie ... I think it's worth ALL users (particularly those that think the Mod's are "Heavy Handed") keeping a balanced perspective on priorities, which would annoy you more a) Having a post deleted or edited or b) having the site shut down and nowhere to discuss SANFL with oposition supporters?

Dutchy, I for one wouldn't let this place show any bias towards the Crows or Power, I don't like either of them!

& to open a fresh can of worms, what if certain procedures were "masking agents"?

I hate to say it, or to think it, but is it time for him to retire while he can still stand up?

Ricciuto, Buckley, Hird, Koutafides, are all looking fairly fragile this early in the year! And perhaps Lloyd will prove to be another.
