I reckon North will be busy trade period. If they can't get a quality mid, Stringer & Lever could be good replacements for Waite and Thompson

What happened at Footscray for all this to happen? Win a flag and then everyone wants out.

Nope, that rumour was shot down already. Stringer will be the only one out

Sounds as though he's lost some respect among the playing group.

Is this the most acknowledged premiership hangover ever?

Definitely inside mids for us, need 2-3 minimum. Would think we would look at a couple of bargain basement types and maybe even state league players. Another key tall defender would be a bonus aswell.
For some reason we are into Stringer massively

Serious? After being "up" from 2001 we finished 8th in 2005 and smacked North in the elimination before Adelaide tore us a new one. Hardly a hangover when you make a semi final. Bad call.

Beveridge and the club have insisted that is false. They have come out and said Stringer will be traded but the others will be back.

Without knowing the fringe players at other clubs and thinking this guy has more to offer as a mid (he was being developed I think to replace K.Cornes way back) Aaron Young could do with more midfield time.

He'd come cheap and could offer something to the Bombers I reckon, we've got inside mid covered and while he was very good in '16 with 37 goals as a make shift replacement for Monfries I think he's best footy has been as an inside mid at SANFL level.

The performance after said flag wasn't good, which usually gets put down as a hangover....

I guess if you see a semi-final as "wasn't good" then you could consider it a hangover. Me, I'd think not making finals would be the measure of a hangover, ie Hawks '09, Bulldogs '17 are more like a hangover than a side that won a final and lost the semi.
