Is Hendo that bad?

regards,

REB

nup, still afl standard imo, we just have a lot of his type so no point keeping him around. Reckon he will get another gig somewhere

Maybe otten was still contracted? I thought he would be done too

Grigg should too

If grigg couldnt break into our side with our need for run and ball skills he must have a significant knock on him. Apparently he doesnt work hard enough both ways (and so atkins and knight etc went ahead of him)

so not sure whether he will get picked up

I think Hendo was as simple as he did not want to sign for the money he was offered. I think in that instance the club has no choice but to delist him? (correct me if I'm wrong).
Agree Otten should have gone first but must have a contract.
Griggs time was up.

Doesn't sound like a great replacement for Noble.

Wasn't there a lot of talk about Burton's time at Brisbane as their fitness coach being pretty poor?

Everything that happens in Brisbane seems bad, but you can't knock his record this year considering the injury count for the Crows.
Obviously showed the right attributes for the role otherwise why move him into Head of Football. Unless you personally know Brett and his work ethics, I don't think we can comment.

In a collision / impact injury sport, Adelaide can put a fair bit of last years injury run down to sheer luck, but, Burton also showed he's been able to keep the blokes on the park so cudos to him and his team there.

Interesting though, High Performance Manager to Football Chief, big promotion.

Everyone mocked him when he was appointed high performance manager last season and that proved to have been a great appointment. Burton is rated very highly within the football industry with his high performance and football knowledge. Noble was a bit of a no one or 'just a recruiter' when he was made Head of football and look at his reputation now.

I'll back Fages and Roo in with there decision. They haven't done much wrong since taking charge.

Odd comment. Not sure many appointments at Adelaide lately would fit that bill. Last 2 senior coaches, a lot of assistant and support staff had their histories outside the Crows.

Big risk moving burton away from head of fitness when his season saw the senior side only require 29 players for the year with minimal injuries

A new head of fitness means a new structure to one that was far far from broken :D

Names that came to mind immediately that seem to be "in house" appointments were Burton, Noble, Smart, Bode, Van berlo.
Anyways, you say we're on the tilt, how and where will the Crows improve in 2017? The main problem in the last 2 years finals beltings hasn't been addressed (again) and I don't need to bring up the trade table farce. You had the greatest run with injuries since day dot in 2016, that won't happen again either.
Another year of making up the numbers?

If Wanganeen took up a position at Port after he retired, would that be also?
