They were talking about score equity. So the equity of a kick for goal from the goalsquare is probably 5.9, the equity or a kick from 50m on the boundary is probably. So its a pretty accurate measure of the kick difficulty, but yeah you are right, the turnover is also important. not sure whether it takes that into account, probably not
