Stumps wrote:fair enough. I get a bit sensitive about this because a lot of crows people think he was absolutely shafted by the crows. At that point in time he was playing average footy and looked slow in our team he is clearly not in the crows next premiership side so 2 years would have seemed alot the way he was playing. In the end you could say the crows stuffed up but would he have been playing the same sort of footy here? not sure.

even though maric has been good at Richmond, i still dont think he gets a game in the current crows team. A little too slow to play as a Forward that rucks, and It is rare for teams to play two pure rucks these days.

Dont really begrudge anyone who moves for more opportunities, good to see him doing well (and good to see Jacobs towelling him up Friday night :D)

Now he is relentless in his tackling, his second efforts have been awesome and his goal sense has improved out of sight. Could have done that in the hoops you ****. That's two years in a row this bloke has made me tear my hair out LOL.

How quickly they forget

Lol. Not quite. That was Travs greatest moment in hoops. I thought that would be a new standard for Varcoe but unfortunately his body let him down. That was 2012 mind you and the club started to lose patience with him and after the 2013 season he was shopped around with no takers. Ah! That will be the boot up bum he needs...in 2014 it was the same ol lazy shit that unfortunately characterised the majority of his career at Geelong. We all knew he could play, that was the frustrating part.

Seeing him do all the things we all knew he could do for another club is just as frustrating but I'm glad he has kicked on and my GAGF comment was tongue in cheek.

Shaun Higgins. Done really well at North and was massive today. Hasn't missed a match all year! The Roos have done well on that one.
