Freo kissed on the dick. Carlton played well with one mistake costing them. Sort of feel gutted for them....

Thats ok, but I think freo were lucky and Carlton looked like they were there to play footba and not the brand freo brought.

If the result somewhat, no matter how small, helped those poor and brave parents of the 3 kids that sadly perished on MH17 then justice was done.

I had a tear, not too proud to admit it either. That was a wonderful moment where we took a moment to remember it is, after all, just football.

Nice little touch by the Pav as well to stop and embrace them when running out.

One mistake? No, more like a series of mistakes. Casboult dropped three sitter marks, he hasn't been doing that all year. Murphy passing the ball to the point post instead of Chris Yarran. Ellard spraying two gettable shots at goal, Docherty kicking out on the full late in the last quarter under no pressure. The game will be remembered for Wood's error but he was under more pressure than all of the others with the exception of maybe one or two dropped Casboult marks.

As a Cat fan I have asked myself many times can Chris Scott coach? I think we are about to find out. If Geelong go out and kick the ball on Tom's head while three Freo defenders spoil away the ball we won't kick a winning score. If we allow Crowley to get inside Steve Johnson's head we will get no midfield drive.

Freo were caught out by Carlton's tactic of continually switching the play. This prevented Ross from applying his blanket in the backline. Geelong needs to emulate this style rather than expecting Tom to outmark half of the Freo defence. If we play this way next week it's clear to me that Scotty can't coach. You simply cannot try the same shit that isn't working again and again and expect a different result. Swith the play...in every sense of the word.

Crowley managed to keep the lid on Murphy.....for a half. Carlton were proactive and went after Crowley. If there's a dust up who gets pinged by the umpire? That's right, the guy who gets in second. This is what continually happens when we play Freo. Crowley goes after Stevie, Stevie loses the plot and gives away frees and gets suspended. With matches against Hawthorn and Carlton coming up we can't be without Stevie because Crowley has got him again. Step up James Kelly. It's your 250th mate. Make it a memorable one by punching Crowley in the guts and knocking him on his arse. Not only will the weak prick start looking over his shoulder he'll hit back and we will get the free.

If Crowley takes the initiative and we allow Ross to put the Blanket on our forward line it's official - Scott has no idea. Prove me wrong Scotty, prove me wrong.

regards,

REB

Good WUB haha! Franklin out increases the Bombers chances tonight, they really fancy themselves. I'm guessing Ted Richards will get the job on Jake Carlisle? That'll be an awesome matchup and I think the game will be won and lost with their matchup. If Ted shuts Carlisle down then I don't think the Bombers can win at all.
