Buddy off to Sydney...Swans!

Talk on the national game

What were the reported offers on the table again?

GWS was 6 years $12m ($2m p.a)

Sydney 5 years $7m ($1.4m p.a)

Hawks? Was it around $1.2m?

If this is correct then the extra $200k will get eaten up by his Bondi rent (we all know how expensive Sydney is) and 20 blokes from Saturday plus coaches and support crew, not to mention thousands of supporters will hardly be happy for the bloke.

Interesting decision. Mind you, I'd imgine his head would have been in the clouds over the last few days.

Do the AFL have to approve this deal, like they did with the Tippett deal?

Not that I think they'll deny it. I agree with REB. Andy D would be loving the exposure the AFL is likely to get in Sydney because of this.

Even the most expensive place in Bondi would still give him $50k change...http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-nsw-bondi-411321107 :? But I guess that would be go on milk and bread

If Buddy drove a Falcon ute and played twos for Dandenong I wonder if Jesinta Campbell would find him interesting?

Buddy will live with James O'Connor, rent will be nothing for those two.

Well hopefully kicking practice is something the swans will look at because they are paying 2.4 mil for two power forwards that can have some very off days with there kicking.

The jokes will start when the swans kick 8.22 and lose after paying 2.4mil. But hey when they are on they could kick anything.
