GWW

He has been playing as a key forward and better players then Bock have missed from close range, A Jarman 93 v Essendon Prelim Final

Anyway, I too like Bock as a defender but Bock, Perrie and Welsh got some system working on the weekend, I think they kicked 10 between them so I am not too sure If I would change much here...... Whether Bock plays of HF or FF, footy today is about match up's so he will draw a tall defender, need also to remember Welsh plays his best footy when he plays along side a tall

As i've said before i dont really rate Bock as a player much at all, but he can play some reasonable football in defence. If he was going to play in the forward line, i wouldn't have him in a key position, maybe a forward flank.

Or they could do what Port did in the 2004 finals series with Tredrea play him as the dummy lead forward and hope to Christ noone kicked it to him.

One of the reason why I don't rate Treadrea and Rewuldt (however you spell his bloody name) compared to Hall, Brown, Fevola, Neitz etc becasue if they were kicking for my life I would simply ask the bastards to shoot me first - can't avoid the inevitable.......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

couple noticable changes

Saints dropped both ruckman, Brooks and Ackland, obviously Thomas does not believe in Ruckman

Eagles, still no Kerr, which is a huge loss

Swans, no Grundy, hopefully he will be disappointed and request a trade to the crows

Freo, Haslbey wont play

Crows, name kenny as emergency but will play if fit (my opinion), Hudson not named for North Adel

SAINTS: Of course Thomas doesn't believe in Ruckmen! Someone hasn't been paying attention. Wet at the G and the Sainters have gone in a bit smaller. They beat Sydney in the slop earlier in the year so should do the same to the pretenders..I mean Melbourne.

FREO: The toughest game to pick. The home team with plenty out but with a lot more finals experience. The visitors the form team of the comp but with no finals history so it comes down to whether or not CC's unit is good enough to make their own history. I believe they are. If Adelaide can get past this game they'll make the Grand Final.

EGIRLS: This game will be close the maggots will get their mates accross the line. Getting a free kick at Putriaco is harder than trying to watch an episode of Big Brother.

PIES: The Pies have the forwards to stretch the Bullies' defence and will do so. Curtains for both teams sooner or later anyhows.

regards,

REB

Would not surprise to see Biglands or Rutten "start" at fullforward.
