Gotta go for Sydney purely because they'll be written off similarly to how the Crows were.

Goodes needs to be at his best, Kennedy has been a boom revelation this year, Jetta an X Factor that they need to shine (he could also do a Leon Davis and be statless, LRT is a big one, where will he play?

Hawks are a better side on paper, should win by about four goals though.

Hawks to bounce back, can't see them having to shockers two weeks in a row.

Most years there's usually a reasonable favourite but this ones hard to pick .. The Swans can shut any team down, but the Hawks have a few individuals who turn a match.

I'll go Hawks but wouldn't be at all surprised if the Swannies get up

Hodge to come back to the Hawks 22 you would think but who will he replace? It's most likely to be Murphy but he would be handy in Hawthorn's back six. I'd look at dropping Ellis as he had a stinker yesterday, Puopolo didn't do much either and was eventually subbed off. I think Puopolo when up and about is more dangerous playing up forward than Ellis and that might save him from being dropped.

Since their flag in 2005, the Swans have made the finals every year except for 2009 where they finished twelfth. A flag would be a great reward for that kind of consistency.

I'd love to see either team win it as I enjoy watching the way they go about their footy. Really looking forward to watching this contest unfold.

Hawthorn by 23 points.
Sam Mitchell to be Norm Smith Medallist.

Was there a change in the rules recently that has meant if there is a draw there will be extra time in favour of coming back again the following weekend??
While I'd love to go to Melbourne 3 weeks in a row not sure the liver could handle it.
Go Hawks.

seeing the crows aren't playing this week I didn't feel the need to mention them. Yes, Crows played out of their skins but if the Hawks kicked straight early the game would have been over by half time.

If my Auntie had a prick shed be my uncle and a very ugly sight. Swans for me Hawthorn can play like that 2 weeks in a row because they did it last week..... Sydney are structurally the most disciplinned side in the AFL and if the Crows exposed it well I'd love to see what Sydney can do....

Does anyone else think the betting market is off the mark? I know the punters dictate the prices, but I see it a whole lot closer than what is currently on offer.
( Haw $1.45 Syd $2.75 )

I think Sydney ( and have done so for several weeks ) are the only team commited enough to their game style to beat the Hawks. Having said that I dont expect Hawthorn to have two "down" games*.

*Anyone who thinks Hawthorn played badly on Saturday have to rethink, not many teams would have beaten Adelaide on Saturday nights efforts.
