What is the Magpies W/L record against the Crows at AMMI? They must have one of the better records of all the interstate teams here?

I reckon they have lost only 1 or 2 interstate games in the last 6 or 7 years.

I didn't think there was too much in the Vince incident, he's gone to spoil Blair's arms, Blair has lowered his arms and Vince's forearm has hit Blair's forearms, gone over them and into Blairs neck. Wasn't deliberate or nasty and apart from a bit of blood from Blair he was ok. No doubt the MRP will find a way to deem it suspendable and the AFC will decide not to fight it.
The umps should get suspended for not sending him off with the blood rule for 3 minutes.

Seeing that you can't hit the arms in a marking contest, that defense won't hold up

Yeah it will. Just a free kick by going for the arms.

He will get nothing. It was incidental contact in the contest

Really, please. Hitting arms is not reportable, making accidental high contact may get games, making deliberate high contact may get games unless of course you're playing for North Melbourne and taking a cheap shot at a kid in his first year. Get the difference?

Well i didnt enjoy watching the game one bit. Went expecting 2 teams to go head to head, instead one side flooded the contest and made it a scrap. Was like watching rugby or and under 8 soccer match for 3 quarters. Collingwood thoroughly deserved the win, their better players got their hands on the footy, they used the ball better, spread quicker and got the job done.

Contact between the Adelaide Crows’ Bernie Vince and Collingwood’s Jarryd Blair from the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Collingwood’s Simon Buckley handballs the ball towards his team mate Blair. Vince is coming towards Blair and makes contact with the ball, knocking it out of bounds. After making contact with the ball, Vince makes high contact with Blair, and a free kick is paid to the Collingwood player. It was the view of the panel that Vince was making a realistic attempt to spoil the ball from Blair’s possession and was not negligent or reckless. No further action was taken.
