If anybody who is a member and doesn't agree with the punishment, they should threaten to rescind their membership in an email because of the punishment for something that is good natured and pretty danged harmless.
That should keep the airwaves humming along.

Absolutely. Is there a less inspiring and interesting man to listen to than Trigg?

i concur.
Just wondering how many patrons were in the front bar with them as i know the stansbury pub well. It would be so nice to be able to i.d. the dobber. Then bernie and his mates can apologise, in person, to the offended person. ;)
Heres a bloke celebrating with his best mates, blokes with who he's played in umpteen premierships with, and he has to cop this attention/bullshit.
How about we give bernie a pat on the back for being a loyal mate/team mate and being able to stay grounded with all sacrifices he's made to play top level footy.

I think the publican shut off the front bar for them to celebrate in.

What a joke Adelaide is. We have 1 AFL player fly 3000km and (allegedly) get drunk and attack a citizen with an axe, and not get a fine/suspension and Bernie gets fined by his team mates for being a Lad.
I also saw in today's paper a team mate of Bernies commenting on his behavour, when that senior player has acted in far worse on many occasions over his carerr.

AFL clubs are just so out of touch with the common person that Bernie Vinces actions have probably won him over more fans than the 1 member who could be bothered writing in saying they would cancel their membership.

Great to see a footballer who is not a robot, and shows some loyalty to his local area/club/mates.

Heard a funny story last night on AFL 360 that a rugby league player last year turned up to training drunk and his punishment was to buy an amount of tickets to their next home game and give away to the fans.Whilst he was handing out the tickets quite alot of the fans were trying to give him a beer. Why not people send Steven Trigg or Bernie a pair of boxer shorts, try to cheer up poor old Steven.

Has anyone sat back and thought the Adelaide F.C have used this distraction to hi-light the game this week in Adelaide seeing they need a big crowd. When was the last time you seen any football club committee hang a bloke up to dry like this......
I'm certain behind closed doors the bloke has been given a small talking to.

Hook line and sinker Adelaide public.

This is the first paragraph of an article today in the Advertiser

________________________________________________
More than 18 months after she first appeared in court
the mother of former Crows star defender Nathan Bock
will be sentenced for drug trafficking
_________________________________________________

Another stupid Crowlandish article
FFS This story is about Michelle Bock, not a guy thats playing AFL football
This story has been in the news several times in duration, I reckon each time a reference is ' Nathan Bocks' mother

I heard he got driven back after having two beers. Begs the question, and I know two beers is very little and would not ( possibly ) impare his driving, but how many people have been killed on that road this last 12 months?

I think this incident in isolation is nothing, its a joke we are still talking about it, but clearly the AFC have had enough of Bernie drawing that sort of attention to them. The media, as we are all aware, is shit in Adelaide and anything even remotely newsworthy is a headline in waiting.

If indeed he had two schooners and drove home that is what he should be getting chastised about.

Agreed Adelaide media is shit, but if he isnt over .05 that componant of the story is a non issue also as he hasnt broken the law. Idiots kill themselves and the innocent with 0 Alcohol in their system...

From this, AFC has responded to media beat up, given away 60 extra tickets (im sure Bernard isnt paying for them) and got extra attention to the NAB Cup GF to hopefully get more bums on seats.
