Unless Richmond is offering a huge contract, I'd be surprised if he finished up there.

4-6 years I think we will be right up there. We need a key back (trengove) and a number 1 ruckman (bellchambers) and we are set

I actually hope we don't go too hard for him. Would love to see us chase Talia. Get him onto a 2/3 year deal, this bloke has massive talent, but not getting a game at crows to injurys etc:

Richmond, Carlton and Essendon would be keen and probably melbourne as well. Anyway I believe it may en up in a bidding war as Carton have the team for the next level, but there just missing a tall really. Essendon need a key defender and well richmond have a young crop capable in the future with only really some key talls all that is missing.
Anyway this just goes to show how hard it is to keep players here in Adelaide. very hard and you can see why.

As cliched as it is, IMHO big blokes take longer to reach their peak .. So he still has a big upside.

So I rate him as decent now, but also rate his potential to become even better

These would be the comments of people who see him 8 or 10 times a year on TV?

Is a real stand out and when moved onto Petrie yesterday managed to at least give Petrie something to think about and did a good job, much better than Carlile did anyway.

You've got to wonder what's going on with Chad. I get the feeling him and Matty don't get along all that well.

I get the feeling that Chad's non-selection is not being driven by Matty

Nah. They're just saving him for the next Showdown so he can fist pump and carry on like a goose and they can angle for the emotional 'farewell' win.

I had my first close up look at him against the Roos this week and I have to say I couldn't see what the fuss is about. Good average player at best from what I saw.

Is in his first full season as a KPP. With that in mind I think he shows lots of promise. Under the right tutelage could become an AA defender.
