Meh. See 10 of them every week.

Yeah but only one of them this year has cost two premiership points.

Just for those who aren't off the protected species - my post in the Crow enclosure:

Gingernuts wrote:Well, there's only one thing to do after an embarrassing performance - and that's to forget about it and talk about next week.

Some serious changes to the side coming this week you would have to think.

IN: Tambling, Stevens & Doughty (some serious experience, all desperately needed across half back)

Out?? Where do you start really.

How is Jacobs comeback going in the SANFL? Maric is a glaringly obvious one for mine, he's an honest tryer but we have been smashed in the rucks two weeks in a row now. Gotta make a change there I think.

Need a small forward with some spark up forward too, we just can't keep it in our forward line and create opportunities a la Rodan & Motlop at the moment. Jaensch doesn't seem to be cutting it, and Cook did nothing Sat night.

They would be the calls I would make - experience into defence, a change in the ruck, and a small forward

This might be a silly question but could Jared Patrenko be slotted into the forward line as a goalsneak? I know he has been played as a defender but perhaps he could bob up with a goal or two.

I think that an away game is actually exactly what Adelaide needs personally. Away from the scrutiny and parocialism of a home crowd (who are rabid this week after Saturday's performance) and at Etihad, which is a pretty happy hunting ground for us.

There have been several times in the past where we have been under the pump and pulled off an unlikely victory at Etihad to get us back on track.

Still don't think we will win, but I don't think it will be the walk over everyone will be expecting.

I brought up Petrenko in the other thread, but apparently he has a broken hand or foot or something.

I agree. Adelaide back to the wall, always trouble the Blues.

The thing is, you blokes will bring a spud in like Moran or Seller  and watch 'em kick a bag.....

There was mention of dropping McKernan in the paper this morning. I'll be pretty pissed if they do.

Whilst he wasn't great on Saturday night, he kept working his arse off (unlike some of his soft team mates) and it was probably only a lack of experience that stopped him from having more of an impact. Walker should be on the chopping block before him IMO.

Bring Jacobs or Moran back in for Maric, that would be the only change I would make in the big man dept.

For mine, I hope Walker and Betts both play. Betts could get into a bit of form against the Crows and Walker should play a leading/hit up FF. He looks like he needs settling down into a leading forward role rather than playing floating type roles.

Will be at this game as a neutral. Crows need more from their rucks and half backs.
Carlton need to get reward for their forward 50 entries. Betts is the Carlton Leon Davis, I'd be looking at moving someone in for him.

He was woeful for you blokes on the weekend .. It's prob not right to judge a bloke on one performance, but I agree that he should prob be expecting a spell this week.

Collins was probably the worst player I've ever seen. He did NOTHING right last match.
