Port would probably only be looking at really being about to win 4 - 6 games this season. They will be 0-3 after this round, with the crows to come in round 4 they could be 0-4. Still you would expect that at the moment, lost a couple of key players and some of there better younger players like Gray and Hartlett are underdone. Port in my opinion will be in the bottom 3 this season with Brisbane and the Gold Coast, I would have said bottom 4 and added West Coast be my boys seems to have found something, even though its only a little bit, hey I'll take what I can get at the moment!
The crows on the other hand in my opinion could win around 15 games this season. Looking a there draw its very possible. Of course a few things would need to go there way, but in contrast to last season most of there key players are fit and ready to go. Also there forward line looks a mile better than this time last year. Anyway just my 2 cents.

I had the Crows earlier in the year just ahead of Port but now my opinions changed, i think Port will still struggle but the Cows are dangerous, the young ones are coming on pretty quickly & their forward line looks potent.
Crows to finish top 5. :o

agree but ill add crows to finish top 5 but not be a serious premiership threat to the top 2. Pretty similar story for them imho.

I also have a soft spot for Richmond and always think this might be the week they get a win...

Hows those tips going mate? Was the Freo game included as a 1 of the 3 Crows games you predicted they lose? Funny game footy hey. ;)

Nothing like a bit of media hype about a certain clubs draw to give their followers false hope

Tips going OK, 6 so far just got the crows wrong and I have picked the saints (not looking good at half time). Didn't get to watch the crows game as I was at a wedding but it sounds like they made me look a little silly  ... I'm still confident they will have a good season. Of course when I did my ladder I tipped as though the crows would have a little luck and win the close ones. [-o< I'm interested to see what other peoples ladders look like, thanks to Hearts on Fire for having a go. Its a bit of fun if nothing else.

I just did the predictor but didn't know how to save it as attachment but I got

Collingwood
Hawthorn
Bulldogs
Geelong
Essendon
Carlton
Sydney
Adelaide

Collingwood on top with 19 wins and Adelaide into the 8 with 13 wins. Just outside the 8 on 10-12 wins were St Kilda, Freo, West Coast and Melbourne. Gold Coast got the Spoon with 1 win and my side Port finished 14th or 15th with 5 wins.

How can we compete with the might of Hawthorn after they so clinically disposed of powerhouses Melbourne and Richmond. We saw how good Adelaide were last week and the Hawks couldn't get the job done there.

Then there is the Bulldogs, another team that does it's best work before they bounce the ball to start the season. Watch out for Swannies I reckon my friend. But seeing as we are so gone we might as well not show up for the rest of the season.

Should be a good game Saturday night. Swans can finally test themselves against a real powerhouse.

After this round of games, I have changed my thoughts. This is my final 8:

Collingwood
Geelong
Carlton
Sydney
Hawks
West Bulldogs
Essendon
St. kilda (At the moment, I'm not convinced they can actually make it!)

i reckon my team the crows can make the bottom half of the eight if a injury list stops growing by three or four each week.
2010 season decmimated by injuries during pre season and now season 2011 all the major injuries are happening during the game if this keeps up we will miss the eight.

A pity the Port Magpies look to be reasonable this year otherwise it could have been One Club, Two Wooden Spoons.
