Richmond would have sung the song tonight? ... didn't go down by 138 points in round 1 this year as they usually do.

Also Duigan, picked up from Norwood as a mature age rookie was pretty good aswell.

Half time:

Saints 2.8 20
Geelong 1.7 13

Yep, that's the correct score.
Shocking game so far, both defences on top.

Selwood accidently cleaned up by Farren Ray in Q1 and subbed out.

Not after the mini league score Interceptor, just the real stuff please! :D

In seriousness though - the first 2010 Grand Final aside, I really dislike watching the Saints play. That negating style doesn't do much for me I'm afraid.

No, but it's watchable at least, except when the tricolours are playing.

Saint Kilda are the exception. Almost as bad as some of the SANFL teams of the last couple of years to watch.
Just shows how good the AFL is going when it can soak up one of its teams playing like this and continuing to prosper. Quite an amazing feat and a testament to the AFL.

You can also blame C7 for my crankiness, their coverage makes me hardly watch Friday night football, once again its a testament to the AFL they can continue to prosper with such crap coverage.

Would have to be close to the worst half of football I have ever seen.

I hate watching St Kilda they bore me to death and play such crap negating football.
They are the reason along with their crap club and culture why people are turning off AFL no matter what Dictator Andrew and his Propoganda Minister Adrian say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

The first half was one of the worst standard AFL matches I have seen in years. Some of the mistakes, going backwards, missing targets and general play looked like two bottom teams in round 19.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Soft turnover wins the game for Geelong.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I'm listening to it on the radio, a 1960's "Graetz brand - Flip" transistor. Thankyou C7 for allowing me to relive my heritage and listen to my grandfathers wireless!

Problem is that style has a history of success. I refer to Dumbetrio's comment in 2005 when Sydney won the whole thing.
