Yes well in hindsight Port's AFL side should have followed the WWT lead......gees give me a break. The club won a flag after 9 years in the AFL, yes AFL. Not a bad effort i wouldn't have thought, given all their achievements have been despite the nature of the AFL's recruting rules, and the AFL's desire to see all clubs stay down once theyve won a flag.

Compare this to the WWT  the club who only won a flag because of the fact that they merged 2 incompetent clubs to form one formidable club. But what have they done since, made a few grand finals, but essentially have been the joke of the competition with the way they choke in the big one against centrals over the last few years.

I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT WWT SUPPORTERS WOULD BE THE LAST ONES TO BE CRITICAL OF ANY OTHER FOOTBALL CLUBS!! ESPECIALLY IF THAT CLUB HAPPENS TO HAVE WON A PREMIERSHIP IN THE AFL!!

Not quite as good as winning a flag in your sixth year and then doubling up the year after......

Not a bad effort by the "Glenelg Crows" as Port supporters used to tease me with during the Shaw years.....Apologies to the supporters of the other 8 SANFL clubs who follow the Crows as we are the team for ALL South Australians....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I think Tassie there was a "little" WAFC talent in those two premierships too.

Still evident this year also.

Agreed Coorong hence my last sentence.....

A lot of West, Port, Norwood, Eagles, South, North, etc talent in those back to back world championship winning teams....
