Port has a nice reputation of players stuffing knees, legs etc twice.

Ah well

Dont wish to argue amongst ourselves, but ....

Primus and Francou are the only two that come to mind and like all other impact injuries it all comes down to bad luck, not bad management.

The rehabilitation of Damon Whites broken leg was nigh on farcical.

Every club has mismanaged an injury at some stage over the years Wedgie. I don't think Port stand out as worse than any other particular club. I still remember how we broke Barry Stoneham and more recently Matty Egan trying to rush them back for Grand Finals.

Im sure Rodan's rehab didnt involve consuming 15 beers every Friday and Saturday night, and carving up the dancefloor at the Palais, like your mate has Piccachu...thats the difference, footy is nowhere near as gruelling as weekends with you blokes

I reckon a lot of people forget just how awesome a young David Schwartz was shaping up to be too .. Tragic that whilst he was still a fine footballer we didn't get to see the best of him.

For some Swarta magic check out the 1994 Qualifying Final vs. Carlton. Second ranked Carlton played against Seventh ranked Melbourne and the Dees were supposed to be making up the numbers. Early on Carlton raced away but Melbourne clicked in the second term and stole the match right off them. Schwartz did this magnificent blind turn around a Carlton opponent that would have done justice to Darren Jarman. Brilliant stuff and definetely a career that was severley hinded by injury.

I reckon you can put Barry Stoneham in that boat too. He was never the same after he broke that leg.
