I was going to mention him too CK but Onsong beat us there. Had a very good season

sorry OS I missed ur mention of Sharrod Wellingham! Also Ivan Maric is one I definitely agree with! He has turned into a damn good ruckman!

David mundy from Freo is also having a career best year who doesn't get alot of recognition!

Regardless, he's still a much improved player.
I didn't get to see a lot of him last year, but what I've seen this year has been awesome.

Varcoe yes, Hawkins No.

Jack Riewoldt, definitely. I thought him and Morton were both spuds, seems I was only 50% right.

Think Renouf from the hawks has improved this year after shouldering the load for a couple of months.

Wellingham from the pies is a bit more consistent.

Chaplin from Ports seems to have become more consistent too...

Have to agree with you there MatteeG, chaplin frustrated the hell out of me last year, capable of finding the footy but just burnt it too much in previous years. His disposal this year is still questionable but has improved imo, has also become a leader in our back 6 which is pleasing.

Not a break out year for either IMO but there is still time to set this right. Hawkins dead stiff as he was just starting to look good when he got hurt and Varcoe has put in a few inconsistent games lately where he has drifted out of the match.

Both have come on but not gunning it Cat style just yet.

I don't think I can add a poll after creating the topic, can a mod do it?
Just list the suggestions and add it to the thread, maybe give people three votes each??

He kicked a few bags when he wasn't given respect but I don't think he's improved all that much. He's just gotten more of an opportunity at Sydney.

True and IMO he's made the most of it when he gets on the park. It's disappointing to see him get injured otherwise he would probaly be the most improved player in the competition.

Rory Sloane from the Crows has improved out of sight as the year has gone on.

Jamal & Riewoldt are probably the 2 most notable improvers though IMO>

So many of Chaplin's kicks are too short & it seems as if he doesn't kick through the ball. Would love to see him laying into it a bit more, he can kick 60m very well.........
