You would only pick a dud anyway.

They'd pick up a good marathon runner that blitzes it in the beep tests.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

The problem is crows dont trade players.they need to trade Reilly, perhaps doughty and see what quality players are looking for a new club.

Doughty is over 30 and has no trade currency whatsoever. The ones with currency, i strongly doubt they would offer for a trade eg. Van Berlo, Johnsock, Rutten, Bock, Walker...and the ones they'd be willing to trade, I doubt they'd get anything significant for.

They might get a 3rd or 4th rounder for Griffin.

I actually think we've been pretty good at drafting in the last 4 or 5 years considering the draft picks we've had. Since we changed recruitment managers anyway. Poor drafting and trading before then is still hurting us IMO.

Exactly. A lot of Crows supporters seem to think that clubs will be lining up to exchange quality players for fringe players. That's just plain arrogant and naive to be honest.

Griffen will probably attrack a 2nd round pick from say Hawthorn who have massive ruck issues. For example Taylor is aging and almost gone and Skipper hasnt been on the park and well Renouf......hmm seems they could be interested enough for someone like Griffen.

Walker would attrack a fair bit of interest from teams. But you wouldnt want to trade him as he really has so much to give in the next few years.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Its time to go...Hentchel, Burton is too injury prone and Doughty's beyond his best. I think Doughty is in a similar situation as Torney was a few years ago, could probably get another year or two out of him, but with the club's poor performance this year, it may be time to get some new young fellas into the team. We still need champions like Goody, McLeod & Edwards to steer the new blokes in the right direction over the next couple of years until someone else can step up and lead the team, like VB and Vince, which we desperately need someone to do.
