I think M Mickan should get it though.

Thank god we play Richmond this week 8)

Gee you talk about Basset and Mickan how about ROY BLOODY LAIRD! If only he wanted to move up into AFL ranks he would be ideal for the crowies, great at getting the best out of a side with a bit of age and lack of speed (which strangely looks quite similar to the crows at the moment)

NC is the best man for the job at the moment, it was only 2-3 months ago that everyone said he was the man and every other coach agreed. Unfortunately scrutiny comes with loses, the simple formula is WIN = DIMINISHED STRESS LEVELS and SIGNIFICANTLY LESS KNIFE WOUNDS
Get that corn outta my face!!

Roy Laird probably isn't mentioned because its well known that he's counted himself out as an AFL coach, so as such there's no point mentioning his name i would have thought.

Neil Craig wont drop any of the older brigade as they are playing Richmond and it will be a chance for everyone to perform as Richmond are not playing a defensive game and dropping players back behind the play. The time will have to come soon though, when some players will have to go back to local league, cant keep remembering the past and look to the future.I know its a different league but a player with a great attitude who has been playing reserves for North is Brett Ohara, helping out younger players and continuing to encourage, when the older players for the Crows get dropped and if they spit the dummy,so be it.There is only so much patience and time you can give, especially when it is impossible to make the finals.

Jaensch better not be dropped. A good game other than 2 errors. Doughty meanwhile coughed the ball over just as much and conceded 5 goals! Crows to win by 37 points in the most inspiring game of football ever to be seen.

Heard on the news tonight that Mackay might not be playing this week aswell as Patrick Dangfield. Hope they pick Taylor Walker with Burton going out.

They will name an extended bench as we are playing on Sunday. I would assume Walker, Griffen and Mckernan would make up the 25 man squad. Wouldn’t surprise me if we went in unchanged (injuries permitting).

Unchanged wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing really. They played some good footy last week and a week of stability for the 22 for a change could prove to be quite positive.

The Rooch was back to his best in the chip wrapper today.

Pretty sure no-one at the club wants his pity, despite the obvious pleasure it gives him in providing it.

Burton on the interchange, very interesting. Suggests his spot may not be assured.

Have you read about his hamstring tendonitis and the 'radical' treatment he's receiving? He has stated he'll still play this week (but I'm really hoping he doesn't  ).

he'll play kick 4 goal 5 and everyone will say how good he is (mind you its against rich) then he'll struggle again for the next 5 weeks.

im not a crows supporter infact you really dont want to know what i think about them but i am a footy fan and as a footy fan i love seeing raw talent and taylor walker has it yet they play him on a flank or on a wing FFS his a full forward and thats that play him there and give him a few weeks he'll do no worse than the old over rated hack burton.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

Even if he does come up I reckon there's a message in the way the team has been selected this week. On notice perhaps?

on notice to learn how to be a team player hopefully!!! I would rather Walker playing every week (even if he does stink the place up once every 2 to 3 weeks) than someone who takes a mark, shows the opposition the ball, completely ignores someone is 20 metres in space and then handballs to goody who is under the pump and turns the ball over.

Need to keep Walker in the side. He is always going to kick goals in the SANFL, everyone knows that. Stick with him and show him the coaching staff have confidence in him by playing him 1 on 1 at FF!

That is just my opinion.
