A bit of passion in the game. Both sides should just get over it. Name calling isn't worth the trouble.

Very good article in The Australian today by Patrick Smith regarding the rumblings coming out of Collingwood at the moment and people like Malthouse maybe losing the plot

There's plenty of evidence with this incident and his recent putdowns of Figjam

Patrick Smith is hardly one to be talking about on field antics of sportsmen given his reputation as a Grade Cricketer in Melbourne 40 or so years ago.

Dont get things mixed up here, Milne is a turd. We would all have been called a homosexual or similar by big mouthed sledgers in many sporting pursuits, but calling someone a rapist? Poor form by Mick.

So what Milne said was fine??

If Mick gets punished then Milne should as well.

Good yarn.
WADH trying to deny saying anything to Milne with such clear footage to counter his argument.

I wonder if Mick's accusation is closer to the truth than Stevie Milnes...

Also, isn't Milnes brother a convicted drug dealer?
& if so, another no-go zone?

Dont like Malthouse....but dont have a problem with name calling here.

Milne needs to grow up and take it on the chin. Im sure football players over the past have been called more that what Milne was called.

Man, we are getting soft skined!!
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

How's the arrogance of the bloke (Mick)?? "Let's get this right from the start..." As if to say, "How dare you question me about this?" If he had just said nothing much happened, instead of emphasising vehemently that he only spoke to his own players, things wouldn't be as bad as they are now. How could he not realize this was going to be a major story? Certainly made Nick Maxwell look like a fool on Sunday morning. How would he be rating the coach at this point in time? Making people look foolish seems to be standard practice at Collingwood, after the Shaw/Didak drink driving controversy and now this. Surely by Sunday morning Maxwell should have been told Malthouse was going to confirm what had taken place? Mind-boggling.

Seems like a major blowup over nothing. In every game it seems Milne is in some type of scuffle, battle with half the opposition defenders. Its obvious he loves the verbal so i would be staggered that in the 6 or so years since this incident no-one from the opposition has said this to him before on the field. If you are going to play the way milne plays then surely he has to be prepared for some backlash.

Also i think its a bit rich St Kilda getting all flustered about C'wood bring ing up a questionable incident about a players past. Didnt St Nick once get stuck into an Essendon player (Lovett??) about bashing his girlfriend?
