The Hawks are 5hite. 4th is between Collingwood and Adelaide and the Pies draw is a tough one.

I agree - I think the Cows will slide a little in 2010. With the big guns that have been relied upon for so many years another year older, I really think injuries will be a problem this year.

While there are plenty of younger players around taking up the slack, I don't think there's enough to get them up higher than 7-8th

I love it how people think that the crows rely so much on Mcleod, Goodwin and Edwards and that they think they will be so much older and slower this year. When did Edwards and Goodwin show signs they were slowing down? did they still impact games??

Goodwin will play his sweeping role across half back and edwards in the guts and more up forward this year.

Agreed Mcleod had a downish year but in a new role, id much rather have him in my team then enyone elses.

Thomspon, Vince, Mckay, Reilly, Doughty, VB etc etc are more than capable of handling the centre

I never said any of them had shown signs of slowing down. I said that I think injuries will be a problem in 2010. MASSIVE difference..

Goodwin 33
McLeod 33
Edwards 33
Birdman 31 and dodgy knees

The Cows have a reasonable list with good depth of average players, but I think if injuries plague2 or 3 of the 4 I've listed above, they'll struggle.

But, apologies for having an opinion.

Hey Chin up DA (cant half tel you go for hotspur with that touchy attitude ;) )

I think if we can get through the initial rounds of the season we will be right. Our depth will be tested early but the young kids that come in will be hungrier than ever to pefrom to keep there spot once the other blokes are available.

If all your OAP's fire again, your Cows will probably press for a top 5 finish. My point is, age will catch up with them at some point, and I reckon that'll be in 2010.

And it's surprising to see an Arsenal fan so passionate about about anything. I guess that will continue if the Cows are winning and if they lose, we'll hear the deafening silence of your absence...

I dont think they will finish above:
Geelong
Footscray
Brisbane
Hawks
or Saints
but they are better than
Richmond
Freo
Melb
Bombers
Blues

so somewhere between 6 and 11

On todays game against Sydney and being 2 losses,i think they are in trouble,i know Porps and Burton are under done but their game looked terrible today.I thought they looked indecisive when they had the ball, their skill level was poor under pressure and to many did not crash in hard enough at stoppages to get first at the ball which amkes it hard to set anything up going forward
If the only reason you play is for a beer with your mates after the game, your playing for the wrong reasons !!

Of course not

This talk is a carbon copy of what was being said after the WB game last year

We are slow starters even though the 2 games have been alarming there's still 20 games to go

Those sort of amatuer-hour knee-jerk sackings are from another era
In between signatures .....
