He's been in the system for 5-6 years now i reckon and still makes tons of mistakes for mine.

Much rather see us put some games into Trengove, Moore and Salter.

He is at West Adelaide where he belongs and should stay ... Def had to have more than a one year deal previous to 2010 or wouldnt be there. Classic case of the footballer picked on pure body make up and athletic ability. Decision making up there with the worst in the competition. My Tv was lucky to get through last year in one piece

Ah, OK. Didn't see many Port games last year.
I recall him playing some decent games back in 2005, 2006 and having a very good mark.
Must have turned into a lazy bugger.

Chad has made a few classic clangers in the last few games. He needs to keep it simple. Seems to still have that bloody sideways mentality that we can do without. Well below his best at the moment. At least they are not just handballing or kicking the ball to coz he's Chad . Pettigrew has got it, but lost confidence last year, although he needs to make a move this year or others will pass him by.

from saturdays night match every time he got the ball he was always handballing to a player who had an opponet right up his clacker. he just needs to open his eyes a little better and make the right decsion instead of puttin his teamates under pressure

Honestly thought Chad was Ports worse on the weekend, did more harm than good. Probably with Chad is when his decision making goes he doesn't make up for this with hardness or attack on the ball.

If Pettigrew can put in another couple of really good performances for West i think Chads spot in the side could really be in danger.

Far from setting the track on fire Tuesday as well, but on that Cam Cloke was lighting it up. Looking at pure effort and intensity during a training session he was a step clear of the rest of the players, with David Rodan not far behind

Good riddance Chad... time to move on...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

That was more than 2 years ago !!!!! Yes, he was good back then I will happily admit, but as I said, and read it slowly if you have to and take note of my sarcasm, "He's been great for you guys the last few years"............. eg, 2008, 2009 and 2010 included.

Is that the best comeback you have got ?? Really.....

I missed the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Chad has been a brilliant plyer for Port. He's just having a rough spell so far in 2010.

Class is permanent, form is temporary.

I think he is far from done but I do think he needs a kick in the arse. He appears to have grown complacent and does not show his opponents enough respect when playing in the back half. Over summer when it was suggested he would be settled back down in the back half after the 08-09 experiment of playing him all over the ground I was pleased to hear it. But if he gets the third forward ( with Chaplin and Carlile taking the best two ) then he still plays his own game and lets them get away. He did this in round 1 against the Kangaroos and #7 ( Sorry Dutchy, dont know who that is ) led him around all day and IMO beat him, despite the Kangas guy playing in a losing team.

Chad needs to be given a task each and every week and not be given the opportunity to run off as he is at the moment. His decision making was never his strenght, his strengths have always been stopping key forwards and contested marks which I think is what he needs to go back to doing.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
