if you are a betting person the crows are paying a very generous 3.75 ;)

Great to have Burton back but man Edwards is a massive loss. With him I'd almost back us home.

Massive test for the crows, but they are playing good football at the moment. Altough in saying that I cant see them beating the saints at the moment, although it will be a better performance.

Awesome.

VB has been very, very solid since shifting to defence, another big loss. Douglas, biggest meh ever. Wish Martin/Davis were playing instead.

Everyone praises Riewoldt on how much work he does.

Riewoldt will be forced to chase for once as well, rather than be followed by a tired defender.

What's his output been like against the Crows in the past?

I can hear the press conference now

Neil Craig: "We at the Adelaide Football Club want to let the members of our club know that the playing group are disappointed with our output today and that is not the brand of football we wish to be associated or identified with. We are a work in progress and we will continue to evolve as a competitive football team" yada yada yada

Almost 10 goals? I expected the Crows to lose but didn't expect it to be that comfortably.

Losing Edwards and VB was huge. We would've got pumped regardless but they were two massive outs, people underestimate the importance of VB down in defence.

I think the outs for both teams pretty well equal each other out, no Gardiner and Ball.

Ball was rested and has been in average form as of late. Adelaide also lost shirley.

Adelaide were at the right odds but had showed reasonably good form leading into this one, justifying punters to have a nibble at the $3.75.

Three things I took out of the match:

1) Chuck Brodie Martin on the batch of upcoming stars Adelaide have.

2) Andrew McLeod is reminding me of Adelaide's equivalent of Peter Burgoyne.

3) Tyson Edwards needs to play if we are going to be a threat come September.

Porps and Tippett were definitely down on form yesterday, and Burton needs a few more weeks in the SANFL.
That was the main difference, St Kilda had forward options, Adelaide didn't.
Bring back Walker, get rid of Sellar and Burton.

He's not quite at Burgoyne's level yet, but getting there slowly. Was impressed with Martin though, definitely looks the goods.
An exciting group of youngsters down at West Lakes. Probably the best young group in terms of 'upside' in the AFL.
