personally dont think hartlet will go as high as 4.

i have played against all of these young lads at some stage or another and out of all of them broadbent and o'keefe were the most consistant, and dominant out of all the young adelaide hopefulls,

when hamish is on will tear you appart but hasnt really turned it on when my team has played against his, as for johnston and cahill both great talents but i get the feeling they dont like the physical side and dont really play to there ability when some one is giving them a hard time.
Were has Marbles gone and who is Satchel

O'Keefe has had chats with plenty of clubs. Good to see a Kilburn boy go all the way. He had a great carnival and is starting to fill out.

I don't think that matters. I remember last year, maybe Kite, had spoken to like 10 clubs and Adelaide weren't one of them.

Not sure if this groundbreaking but Melb will definitely take Watts as one.
WC will take Natanui
But if for some reason Melb don't take Watts then WC will have a decision to make, as they are also interested in Watts.

As I said, nothing groundbreaking

Also, plenty of interest in SA's Stanley - may go earlier than predicted in the phantom draft.

Tell you what, whoever gets Sidebottom should be pretty happy. There are other players in this draft who will win clubs over before this kid with one or two standout attributes but in terms of the blokes who, you know, just play great all-round footy, this kid is an absolute gun. He chases hard, makes tackles stick, hits targets well by foot, can take a mark, will back himself to attack the goals, a real natural footballer imo. He strikes me as the sort of player that Craigy loves given his endurance and apparent work ethic, but on the same token his lack of pace (especially given the calls for us to add some leg speed) could count against him.

As Porps showed this season however, smart natural footballers will always have a place in this game and Sidebottom most definitely fits that bill imo. I wish the Crows had a couple of top 10 picks :(

As a melbourne supporter id love to see us take natanui at pick 1.
We already have some big forwards in Newton, Miller and Johnson and our team really needs a ruckman that can give us first supply to the footy, otherwise how can we ever get the footy down to the forwardline?

Also i see the likes and marketability of Natanui bringing in some well needed membership/Crowd numbers!

Do those players you mentioned have genuine gun potential like Watts appears to have though? Either way I suppose you'll have yourselves a fine prospect.

Also, anyone know if the draft is being televised? Doesn't say anything in the foxtel tv guide.

Newton has the potential to be a 60 goal forward, just needs to be the main forward, probably at FF, Miller needs to be a CHF for us and johnson as a resting ruckman in the FP, throw in a few of our small forwards like davey, Bruce and Green, and we have a pretty good forward line.
Also i still think we should have picked sheedy as our coach :D

Hence why we need Natanui, first use out of the midfield is better than an unused gun forward.

Doesnt really matter. Grundy was an All Australian playing league and didnt go until the rookie draft. Kellett was a double All Australian junior and didnt get picked up. Every year there are All Australian juniors that miss out for whatever reason.

Some people have thought O'Keefe will go in the 30s, but I guess we'll wait and see. Is a good player.

as a port supporter id be very disappointed if we didnt take Rich if he is still available. Ive seen a bit of him and he can play AFL straight away, not sure about Hartlett. looking forward to tomorrow, good to see what kids your club gets.
