I'm suggesting 6-8 games.
As bad as the Hall hit, not quite as bad as Solomon on Ling

1 week at most. Been along time since Ive seen an incident as overrated as this one. Wasn't a punch or a forearm as I've heard people say, was just below the shoulder. Will get a week for the high contact but not in the same league as Hall, Solomon or Kerr.

All this happened whilst tha ball was dead.

No way, wasn't a fist. Contact was with the right shoulder as Dutchy said.

ok, if there's nothing in it, play on.
but if it's as I recall/saw it, he's in trouble.

I think Goddard should go for picking off Salter with a cheap shot in a marking contest. and Lenny Hayes should get looked at for cleaning up Lower. The Porplycia one could get thrown out or 1 or 2 tops. A few years ago all would have been OK, where is the game heading? Up to 3 Geelong players should get looked at Milburn's tackle, Scarlett's bump and Selwoods punch to the guts.

The way you're going we'll run out of players for the Finals  Hayes on Lower

The vision was not good didn't need to bump him. it look like they were trying hurt him in some way in that incident. Burton go 2 weeks I think he is looking at 2 after a early plea. If a camera on the other side it will show what happen. A camera should have picked it up with 8 cameras.

The latest report is Porplyzia has bruising of the brain and will be out at least a month, possibly for the rest of the season, depending on how long the Crows are still playing.

Bulltish. Nothing in Scarlett's bump. It's called Football. And you expect Selwood to go for that love tap? Fair dinkum.

Carlton look like they will appeal the Browne verdict and so the should.

A bull5hit charge. Feel for Porps, but no way did Browne try to take him out.

On the tape I saw it looked like he deliberately spun to hit Porplyzia with the right shoulder, since Porplyzia was coming from his left side that was the only way it could happen.
Sure, he was probably meaning to hit him in the vulnerable shoulder rather than the head, but it was still a deliberate act.

It's a tough one Jabber and there's a lot of divided opinion on it, Im not really sure what to think myself ... On one hand Brown should have every right to test a players pre=existing injury out and I don't think for a second he was making contact with the intent of knocking the bloke out.

On the other hand, contact was avoidable, behind play and a player's been left pretty seriously injured.

I must've seen a different incident.

I'm with gadj. I was down at that end when it happened and my view was a Carlton person maybe Walker, pushed Porplyzia, purposely and pointedly and per functionally punctuated the point of Browne's permeating shoulder.....

Didn't see any punch, and the ways the Crows reacted I don't think they saw much in it either....

P.S Good catching up with ya gadj !!

You too mate. Next time, we'll make sure our team(s) get up hey?
