I wouldn't like dog poo off of anyones boots, but I'm sure you meant lick the dog poo off his boots..................wouldn't do that either.

At least you knew what I meant.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

No doubt Messiah MAL Blight will take the credit for St Kilda's 2nd half revival to beat Hawthorn.

There are opinions around about Blighty's coaching
There are those who say that he is demanding and extracts the maximum from his players
When the sides play well the players put up with the rigorous demands
When the sides are minimising thier talents he can be too demanding.

He has been bulleted from a few clubs in the past
He appears on face value to be a short term coach

A former player with very limited ability at Woodville once told me
" I GET A GAME BECOZ I TRAIN VERY HARD AND DO WHAT BLIGHY SAYS ..."

Its no surprise that he was bulleted from SK
SK is a prima donna club and primma donnas wont put up with a no nonsense man like Blighty.

I had told many people that Blighty/St Kilda was doomed from the start
SK would not tolerate his coaching

Anyhows didnt MALcolm say this after being axed by SK?[or similar ???]
" THE CULTURE OF THE SK FOOTY CLUB IS 100 TIMES WORSE THAN ANY OTHER CLUB ...."

So he had in effect had a shot at Buttress and his buddys.

MALcolm has the right to defend himsel after a recent slur that he was not a committed coach at SK.
BUT
He may have started things rolling when making the Culture Club comments

ST KILDA are a joke in all aspects of the game

Blighty should take them to court!!!!!!

Im sure they would like to payout twice in the one year

I disagree redden. Any man would and should defend his level of committment (unless he doesn't give a rats toss bag :)). It goes from being a performance based sledge to a personal one and Blighty had every right to fire up after not saying a word for seven years when legally he could have sued the Saints' arse.

We went from that at Geelong to a man who stranded Steven Hocking on 199 games. The Ayres era was not a great one at Catland.

I thought Bickley summed it up perfectly on the Sunday footy show. During Blight's stint at Adelaide, he spent little time at pre season training, more it was planning for the season ahead, talking to assistant coaches.

Bicks said "if they'd done their research they would've realised that he wasn't going to be there 100% of the time" or words to that effect.

Rod Butters is an absolute clown.
Why would you bring that stuff up now.
It all happened years ago and well done to Malcolm for sticking up for himself.

Resigned as North Melbourne coach, walked off from Woodville, Geelong and Adelaide. Took him 5 clubs to join the Sacked Coaches Club.

Good on Blighty for what he said. Butters proves that St. Kilda will not win an another premiership soon and they got lucky to win their first and only. Yogurt has more Culture than St. Kilda. The Aint's should just leave Melbourne and relocate elsewhere where they might gain some culture and win a premiership. But they are now moving to Frankston What a great place for them.

I really dont care what people say about Malcolm Blight, what he says is pretty well always spot on, his coaching record aint too bad either, let alone his playing record, those in the know, are aware exactly why he left St Kilda, I listened to his comments today on a game and he is still right on the money, you don't win back to back flags as a coach unless you have some knowledge
