He sounded much more realistic and thoughtful about his prospects at this interview than any previous one, suggesting he is genuinely taking his addiction problem seriously now. He seemed to be hinting that when it came to looking at a possible AFL club next year his main concern would be whether a club environment may lead him back into the old ways.

Problem:
Would a clean club risk him?
Dare he risk a club that isn't clean?

He still sounded very arrogant and smug IMO
Not 100% convinced

I got the impression he was confident/cocky about his fitness and football ability, but less so than he had been about having "no drug problem". Last year he had been saying that was no problem too.

Of course it could be someone has just taught him the right words to say....
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Well he is going to register with Port Melbourne and train with them. As the report with gary aryes on current affair pointed out. having him there this season will be interesting. I feel he could learn a lot from guys playing at that level and are not AFL listed. More about how they get by day to day and what they do with themselves, problems they face in life and not just football and the glamour that it is.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
