Our forward line isnt working too well at the minute, Motlop, Gray and Tredrea can hold their heads high, Ebert will get better in the coming weeks, but we cant put it together for 4 qs at the minute. Our defence is holding up well, given the amount and type of ball coming in from the midfield.

Our big problem right now is our midfield. Lade and Brogan are getting the hit outs but we are not getting the clearances. In previous years it was our midfield that was our strength, giving our forwards first chance at scoring. Shaun has been a little quiet since coming back, but he will get back to his best. Salopek is an absolute gun midfielder. Cassisi in great form, and Boak will be a long term player who will be one of the best in the league. Kane Cornes really bugs me. For shutting down an opposition key midfielder, there is no one better in the league. For anything else, he is useless. He would have to have the worst disposal in the league, with way too many passes missing its target or dropping short, and he really makes some very dumb decisions at times. Any time a player takes a mark or gets a free kick, you'll see Kane or Pearce 2m behind them, waiting for the cheap stat, and they are the two players we really dont want kicking the ball into our forward line.

If Williams really thinks that 2008 is over - Give Chad the rest of the season off and get him ready for 2009

Ive only seen it once but i rekon 1 game is the presedence for all players whos name isnt Goodes or Franklin.

I thought he ran past the ball jumped and made contact with the head.... just cant shirt front people anymore. am i correct in my recollection but it does show the inconsistancy around the stars and when they make head high contact Goodes gave the match review panel no option after his recent form
