What a load of Cr*p..... I thought i was watching Port Play :? , I know Hawks got numbers behind the ball, but the crows were trying to chip around the back line far too early and far too often. Yeah it was only four points against the top team, but they were never going to win that game..... :(

PS, Dosnt Chance Bateman look like Ben Stiller...........

Last week the Crows did not play four quarters and were allowed back into the contest against Richmond. Tonight was a very even battle but the Crows dominated play for large sections of the match without transfering that dominance on to the scoreboard. In other words, the Crows left the door slightly ajar and the Hawks were good enough to push the door open. Winning matches such as these determine if your side finishes in the top four or in the 5-8 division. So far Adelaide and Sydney have yet to do this, the first one that can will accompany Geelong, the Dogs and the Hawks deep into September.

Adelaide should be kicking themselves. Tonight's loss could prove to be very costly indeed.

Thought it was a tough game of football. Numbers behind the ball was the key. Adelaide definitly had a plan and it nearly worked. I thought Bock was good on Franklin, big buddy had 21 possies in the end but got alot of them up the ground after bock held hin in the forward 50. Anyway not a bad game.

The Crows lack of a real CHF and FF showed in this match. Tippett has the potential, but isn't there yet.
It was a good effort given those deficiencies, but the present forward structure depends too much on a winning mid-field.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Very disappointed with that - we had most of the time in possession and lead for most of the match.

But, positive spin is we were one kick away from one the elite teams in the comp so we aren't that far away from it.

Bock was outstanding unfortunately he dropped a chest mark that lead to the last goal of the match.

That's 2 of the last 3 games were the Hawks have got us after we have lead most of the match :(

The way they were mucking around with in the back lines you could see it was just a mater of time before the Hawks got in front.

Might be the difference between finishing 4th and 5th.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

I thought our effort and endevour were great last night and am proud of the lads. We broke down across half forward so put Burton/hendtchel back in there i think we can match it with the top sides to an extent and could possibly jag a win(still of the pace from winning a premiership though). Also Reilly would have given us another midfield option and otten(what a game to debut) got thrown in the deep end.

Hawthorn's rolling zone killed us and our skills let us down.

But Chin Up and bring on the Cats
